She eventually would look until she had fount her own dorm. She went up to it and knocked once or twice to make sure that it was vacant, unless there was a potential roommate for her inside. She didn't want to make a lot of noise, so her knocks were in between and not banging. However, she would also make it echo throughout the interior of the room as well.
