He listened to her speak, with an all-encompassing look of bleakness on his face. It did not seem like he was entirely present for the duration of her speaking. With the sudden sensation of furs rubbing across his face, he snapped into reality with a slightly disturbed look about him. He shook his head quickly, dispelling his brief unawareness and wandering back into the room, to which he calmly plucked a sword from the corner of the room up into his hand. As the arrowhead dug into his flesh, he growled and brought his right hand to the arrow, ripping the entire piece from his body and tossing it on the ground. Enraged, he tore off into the brambles to combat whomever was firing. And without much effort, due to his immensely longer strides, a scream resounded from the forest. His blade had pierced directly through the assailants stomach, and the younger man was lifted into the air whilst still on the blade. The giant had closed his eyes briefly, kicking the man off of his sword.
"Is this the best they send after me now? His heavy, angry breathing slowly calming as he watched this young man die from his injuries. Not even being merciful enough to end the lad's suffering.
