“I’ll see you tomorrow. Please, take care on the way home,” Christa said before parting with one of her classmates that shared most of the way back home with her. Despite having the possibility of having a driver pick her up, Christa always prefered to walk back home for multiple reasons. The most important of which -- after she became a magical girl -- being that this allowed her to scout the streets that lay between her school and her house. Christa took a glance at her phone, noticing that there was no recent activity just as she was making her way through a park. A passing raven caught her attention momentarily, but she gave it no mind in the long run, instead wondering whether or not the girl from the earlier message had already found a place to stay. Just when Christa decided to make a quick detour to buy herself a drink, she came across a much more unexpected sight. A youngish-looking, red headed girl fidgeting around one of the swings. The blonde stood there for a moment, observing how the other girl tossed herself in the sandbox before getting herself back at a seat position while grinning in a disturbing way. While any normal person would just walk away after such an unsettling sight, Christa decided to check whether or not the girl needed help. Perhaps, she was lost and Christa could at least help her find the nearest police station? “Hi there,” Christa smiled as she approached the girl, trying not to startle her, “Did something happen to you? If you wish, I could try to help you,” she said, extending an open hand towards the girl.
