Josephus Miller

Bunker Athena quickly became a home base for a lot more people than just the Athenians. The bunker was expanded as time went on and turned into somewhat of a colony. Miller spent most of his time further out, closer to the surface. Most people didn't live that close, but he didn't mind. It was better for him that way. Being in windowless rooms was the 'norm' for everyone now. Miller's entire family was killed early on when he was younger. There was only one survivor and that was his brother's son, his nephew. He had no idea where he lived or if he was even alive. The kid was smart, if anyone could survive, he could. Miller sipped on a small glass of whiskey, as he read a book called, "The Outside". It described poisonous plants, how to hunt, and other things that would be helpful for a sustained life. The lights flickered every so often in his room, he didn't mind. It could be worse. He laid out on his bed, and relaxed a little. After a moment, some knuckles hit his door, knocking. "Miller." The voiced paused, "It's time let's go." Miller let out a breath and got up from his bed, putting the book down and taking one last sip of his glass, before heading out. As they twisted and turned through the bunker towards the Athenians headquarters Miller asked, "What have we got this time?" The man looked at Miller, "We have intel that a kid was stranded outside. His parents were killed, but he was able to hide and get away." Miller nodded, "Alright, I'll save the other questions for the briefing." He said stepping through the doors to the headquarters room. Several people stood on the outside of the room while a few sat in the center where the table was. There was a mix of regular humans and Athenians.
