Character Name: Beryl Bloodstone Race: Human - Magi PL: 910 Time/Date: Day 1, Morning Location: Fighter Waiting Room Tagging: N/A Having registered as soon as it opened, Beryl was now waiting for the others to show up. Despite the fact she wasn't a fighter, she had some confidence in her ability to win because for what she lacked in martial prowess, she made up for in willingness to cheat at every opportunity. She already had it all planned out, if the method for choosing match ups allowed for it, she would pair herself up with the weakest looking fighter while matching up the strongest against each other. Of course, she'd try to interfere as much as possible in their fights as well, hopefully weakening them to make her win over them even easier. Then the ten million zeni would allow her to live her dream life. A huge mansion in the city, more cars than she could ever find the time to drive, plenty of household staff to do every little thing she asks, and of course a giant pool to lounge around. What a wonderful life... But realizing her mistake, she quickly snapped out of it and focused on the area around her. She needed to pay attention, surely some musclebound idiots would soon arrive and start showing off to each other. That was all they ever did, this tournament itself is just a way for useless bums to show off after all. Martial artists have no use in the modern world but they have fragile egos that need to be constantly propped up with stupid things like this. In an attempt to act natural, Beryl reached into a pouch and pulled out a few hokey crystals. It was amazing how much people would pay for these things, just as long as you make up all sorts of benefits to having them. She then held a dark green one up to the light and looked at it before sighing. She was losing focus again, but she could hardly be blamed for it, no one else had showed up yet. "Maybe I'll win by default."
