Oh! There are so many elements that could utilized I think. Here are some that might work within the story. 

Water - Common
Plant - Exotic 
Life - Mystical
Electricity - Exotic
Metal - Exotic
Glass - Exotic
Sand - Exotic 
Snow - Exotic
Smoke - Exotic 

Also, I would love one of those cards for my character. Just gotta think of a special attack.
