[@Mateotis][@Vocab][@Aewin][@addamas][@FamishedPants][@Herringson][@Majoras End] Alright fam, I'm pretty sure everyone saw this post with me gushing posted just a few hours ago. Read it if you haven't. I don't hand out praise very often, and lord knows you deserve it. Read it? Good. Now I'm going to catch everyone up to speed on the state of the RP. When this RP started, it had about ten players and seventeen characters. Somehow, we wound up with close to fifteen players by the start of last year, and now we're hanging on with fewer people. Hard to say how many because some are busy/quiet. Trying to get the RP to last a lot longer would be a mistake, I think. Interests wane and I'm not willing to gamble that the next year will bring more players. We're three trials in now and the RP is half over. Nobody new is going to want to join. Fortunately, ending before the year is very doable. Here's the game plan. First we're going to get done with the NoC. This is going to be a short one, and I hope it won't last any longer than one or two months tops. The blackened hasn't been very active recently, but that should be more than enough time to finish things up. I'd rather run things without them than drag things out for the first quarter of the year. The fifth chapter is going to be our shortest one. I won't say too much about it for obvious reasons, but the case is already done. So I'll be pushing to start the case as soon as possible. Then we start chapter six. As per the norm, this case is going to be entirely about uncovering what the world is. The case isn't done, but it should just take me a week or so to compile everything and run with it. Accounting for a few problems here and there, we should be done by June-July. Missing this deadline is not the end of the world, but every month after July will really slow things down, and we risk losing players due to collage/etc until January comes around again. To make a long story short, things are going to be happening, and they are going to happen fast. No one likes to be rushed, but taking a hiatus is no longer an attractive option. If this new pace is something you're going to struggle with, please contact me. I'm sure we can make things work for you. For the moment though, I'd just like to see people posting again now that the new year has arrived. There will be setbacks, but it's nothing any of us haven't shouldered before. I know we're all here for the long haul.
