Character Name: Beryl Bloodstone Race: Human - Magi PL: 910 Time/Date: Day 1, Morning Location: Fighter Waiting Room Tagging: [@Lauder][@Double][@Williwaw][@Slingshot] In the brief moment she had turned to wave to the short, bald man, the weird girl attempted to steal the crystal while claiming it was dangerous. Just who did she think she was fooling? Beryl pulled her hand back quickly and for a split second, an expression of anger flashed across her face before she regained composure. "The only danger one could be in from possessing this crystal is if they steal it, as that would reverse the effects." The response came quickly and easily as she had came up with a whole list of rules on how her crystals work, or at least how she claims they work. It was then that the goliath of a woman stomped into the room, the heavy thumps of her massive feet announcing her presence. Beryl hadn't seen her enter the room, which just raised questions for her as she MUST have been too tall to walk in normally as at the very least her hair would catch on the door frame. Before she could snap herself out of this stunned state, the ogress begun to spray something in everyone's direction before berating them all. The strange girl next to her seemed as if she was trying to hide her agitation over the giant's words, but it all felt so familiar, but she couldn't tell what it was. Even stranger yet, it felt as if she had to respond to the monstrous woman in kind. "You, undignified oaf, would do well to remember that provoking a witch is most unwise." She stepped past the strange girl next to her and pocketed her crystal before she could snatch it from her. "While I aim to help rather than hurt, I can't allow such hatefulness go unpunished, and my blessings can easily be reversed into curses if I so wish." Beryl's legs, seemingly under the control of someone other than her, then took her towards the so called princess. While it was embarrassing to have to look straight up to her face, Beryl didn't let it show. "You should show respect to your future foes, it might just make your impending defeat less embarrassing for you." She then punctuated this with a kind smile as she waited for Sheeban's response, but also tried to figure out why this felt so right for her. Just what was it that made this seem natural for her? Even stranger yet, another fighter entered the room. A pterodactyl wearing clothes, and while this should have gotten Beryl's attention, he went mostly unnoticed. Beryl was in a different world now, one that wasn't entirely new to her, and she had no time for outside distractions.
