Hikari was being slow, but it didn't matter: Tokiko had this fight in the bag. Just a few moments more, and Naoko would taste the power of the TESLA ☆ P— No, wait, why was she running away?! "Hey! Get back here, I'm not finished with you yet!" Tokiko sprinted off in pursuit of Naoko, snatching up her backpack along the way, but it was already too late. Where Oni had a reputation for their strength, mad scientists were known for being physically weak, and this carried over to Tokiko's magical girl form. Before she even got halfway down the alleyway, she was panting from the exertion, her gait wobbly and unbalanced. Damnit! She was too slow to stop Naoko from reaching the other magical girls, and could only watch in horror as the enemy made a massive swing with her kanabo. "Hi... HIKARI!!!" Something rushed past her, a streak of green and grey. Her Archetype, sensing an order in her shout, and obeying with monstrous strength and speed. Ignoring Naoko, the monstergirl raced to where Hikari had fallen, screeching to a halt and kneeling down with a frown of concern. Her massive hands carefully reached out and lifted the magical girl off the ground, then set her gently back on her feet. Tokiko was only just catching up. "Hikari! Are you okay?" Slowing to a halt, she looked the brightly-clad girl up and down. Hikari seemed relatively uninjured— either she was incredibly tough, or she'd managed to block Naoko's attack. "You're... you're okay!" For a moment, just a moment, a smile appeared on Tokiko's features. Not a maddened grin or a sadistic smirk, but a real, genuine smile of relief. And then one second later she was back to her usual self. "You dummy! Dimwit! Blockhead! Now they've gotten away!" She paced back and forth, gesturing angrily. "I told you not to become a magical girl! Don't you know what would have happened if you'd gotten hit by that attack? You could have gotten hurt! And now maybe you will get hurt, because you're a magical girl and it's Hex Night and everyone's going to be coming after you!" She grimaced, her fingers digging into her hair. "And it's all your fault! Those girls came to get you, and you got me all wrapped up in your dumb fight! And you'd better be thankful for that, since if it wasn't for me you'd be in an ambulance right now! Not that it was worth my effort saving a dummy like you..." Tokiko didn't seem like she was about to stop, and her rant might continue for ages if she wasn't interrupted. Beside Hikari, the monstergirl was yawning, apparently used to seeing her master blow up like this. [@VitaVitaAR]
