He had comprehensive insurance to cover any eventuality but that didn't matter to him, he had built the club from the ground up to be the go to place for the cities metalheads. It was as if a part of himself had died in the fire, the fact that what he had spent much of his time creating had been taken away in an instant just didn't sit well with him at all. He looked up at the sky with the smell of smoke still taunting his nostrils and cursed whoever was behind the entire thing. While the loss of his club was upsetting it was the impact it would have on his employees that concerned him the most. The second the police had reached him about the fire he began to call them all to make sure they were alright. Fortunately nobody was hurt in the explosion and ensuing fire, but Leo wasn't satisfied with just that. When he had finished each call to his employees he began to call other clubs, shops and restaurents on the run asking if they could provide temporary employment to his team. When people say crisis situations bring people together, they are not lying. Each member of his staff was provided a job, his two closest members of staff, Dusty and Marcus, had been offered work waiting tables are Fulcini's Bistro. While a change from bar work, it at least gave them a chance to keep earning money until Leo could get the club back up and running. Leo stood there looking at the rubble for close to an hour. His phone repeatedly ringing and messages constantly beeping didn't break his gaze from the rubble. As the time rolled by he got further and furhter into his thought's and from the anger and sadness came a glimmer of hope.

This will not be the end of the club and it will not be the end of me. There are other people out there much worse off than me. This isn't a time to feel sorry for myself. I should use this time to plan...Plans to make, not just the club, but the city itself a better place.

Leo quickly removed his phone from his pocket, the screen already lit up from the barrage of texts and missed calls sent his way. He scrolled through his address book and found the entry Bookkeeper. He clicked on it and pressed the phone to his ear. The phone rang for a few moments before a females voice came through from the other side. "Hello, Mariah Davies speaking?" Mariah had worked closely with Leo for a long time, originally helping him get the club set up before being more involved in his affairs. "Mariah it's Leo..." The woman tried to speak, presumably to give Leo some sympathy. The man was drowning in well wishes and sympathy so cut her off before she could get a word in. "Remember I told you about that e-mail recently from what's his face and I asked you to look into those properties in Southside? Well this fire may be a blessing in disguise after all the insurance you made me fork out for. Do you have time to meet up with what you found out about Southside? I think it's time to strongly consider moving forward." The conversation carried on for a brief moment before Leo ended the call. As he placed his phone back into his pocket he turned from the rubble, giving it a symbolic wave before heading to his car. He was on his way to meet Mariah at her office and even with everything that had happened, he found hope for the future.
