Not because of the everlasting threats to her life and those around her, not due to poverty or lack of food, but due to the fact that she could not speak. Her lack of words constantly created challenge for her, both in communication and as well as the victim of bullying, not able to call for help like others. From this, she became a capable young person able to handle herself. She found that bullies often couldn’t take a punch to the face, and so quickly became confident and skilled in defending against those who opposed her (or, more namely, the bullies). The obtaining of a speech bracelet made her life significantly easier in some ways, yet harder in others. Where she could finally use it to speak, it also meant that others could speak for her. With it being a Phone to Bracelet connection, she would often find the bracelet saying phrases such as “I’m an idiot,” by the control of her bullies. That’s what made her move to Japan, or rather, her family. It was a fresh start, away from the mess of the past. Cellica became a girl that was mixed in what she would be. There were times where her mood would become sour, if she thought of or saw something that reminded her of what she had been a victim of before, thought there are also times that she attempts to put on a smile. She is, however, plagued with the fact that she can’t speak like others. It doesn’t settle well in her mind. • Armament:
Named for the simple fact that it makes a large Thump sound when fired, Thumper is a scoped rifle that fires rounds at a very high velocity, and the core of each round is superheated. A changeable setting on the weapon determines whether the round will simply strike and embed within the target, or if the superheated core will expand within the target and burn them from the inside.
• Psychic Drive: Link - Cellica can psychically link with any nearby device or network that has some kind of wireless function, such as her speech device, a computer or even a wireless keycard reader, and she can utilise these, such as making a keycard reader detect a nonexistent correct keycard. There are a few limitations with this. While being able to connect to an entire server network and turning the world’s electronics against everything would be a powerful ability, this isn’t possible for her. The larger the network, the harder it is for her to connect to the hub (though she can connect to the various points the network connects to. For example, she can easily access a computer connected to a server, but it is hard for her to access the server). Network size isn’t the only thing limiting her, but also physical size; the larger an object is, the harder it is for her to connect to it. Additionally, whilst she can bypass basic security, she finds it difficult if not impossible to crack through advanced security. Finally, she can only connect to one network at a time. That means if only one object is on the network, such as her speech device, she can only use that. If there is more than one object on the network, she can utilize them all, though it’d be a struggle - easier just to use the one device without including the network. • Extra: Cellica is very attached to her speech bracelet, since she’s had it for a very long time and it’s a gift from her father that granted her so much ability in being able to communicate. Also, she’s afraid of spiders.
And here they come again. Moving out from behind their favourite overhang, the chubby Blane and slim Jack began to make their way to intercept Cellica’s current path of movement. As usual, Cellica attempted to avoid them, however she knew the drill by now. As she walked toward the tree which she usually hung around during breaks like this, the pair followed her. It frustrated Cellica that she was the one that they had to pick on, especially as they catcalled behind her. She gave them an annoyed glance. It was the same time as Cellica arrived at her tree that the pair, too, arrived. “Hey, Silly-Cell, how are you?” Blane asked, only to receive a glare in response. Cellica already knew the next line, only not knowing which one would say it. It turned out to be Jack. “What’s wrong, tongue-tied? Is it still in there? Can you even hear me?” He asked her. Waving her arms in a frustrated manner at him, Cellica began to leave - she didn’t want to be anywhere near them. A pair of hands on her shoulders halted this after about three steps, however, and she was amply spun around and shook. “Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?” Blane asked loudly. He lowered himself down just a bit so that he was face-to-face with me. “Say something!” Cellica spoke, but not with her mouth. She spoke with her fist, slamming a right hook into his jaw, and shoved him back. If she could, she would have yelled at him. Jack attempted to grab her, only to receive a few punches of his own. It was quickly that the two decided to leave, and she watched them go with fists clenched. They were most likely going tell someone that she hit them. She looked down to her hands and didn’t know whether or not to smile or frown.
