She has a bit of a temper that sometimes she finds hard to control and will lash out at just about anyone when it comes to it. Despite how she seems, she is also a caring individual, who will help those who need it however she can, no matter what. Though to go along with her anger problems, she also is a bit on the sarcastic side, making snide remarks wherever she goes.

	Sapphire is also a kind person, who tends to put others needs before her own, and helping in anyway that she can, one of the reasons she entered into the line of work, was to help others. It was that and her adventurous side that led her to wanting to fight like she does, to help others out. However, she does keep her secrets, a lot. She hardly ever trusts anyone with what she knows, or what she has been doing, not many people really know about her past, and she plans to keep it that way.

[b][color=A4FFFC]How did you discover your powers:[/color][/b] Demetria was 14 years old at the time, just starting out in high school, when she first discovered what she could do. It had been an accident, and there were instances of things happening every so often. She'd feel really cold after getting a small cut and the injury disappeared, but it was nothing compared to what happened. Her family didn't live too far away from where she went to school, so she was walking home after staying a little while longer, before she ended up with someone grabbing onto her wrist, and the guy was not someone she knew, and the guy was trying to rob her. She wasn't very strong, but she still tried to break free of his grip, but it was useless, and that was when her powers kicked in. The air grew cold suddenly, and the next thing she knew, the guy had turned into a frozen statue, and a second later, his body fell over and shattered the instant it hit the ground. 

[b][color=A4FFFC]General History:[/color][/b] 

	Demetria Clarke was born the only child of Christian and Margaret Clarke in Honolulu. Being the only child, her family tended to give her a lot of things, however they also knew to teach her to work for what she had, so she grew up to not be a spoiled rotten person, and she did appreciate what it was that she had. Her father was an Anti-Mutant protester, and her mother was too. They weren't as bad as the Purifiers, but Demetria never was able to understand why they were against mutants in general.

	Then came the incident when she was 14, and she didn't even realize as she raced home that her hair had gone white, or her eyes had changed to blue. When she entered the house, the air around her had gone completely cold, the door handle froze the instant she touched it, but she ignored it. When her father saw her, that was the end of it. He tried to turn her over to the Purifiers, locking her up in her room so she couldn't escape, but she did. Demetria smashed the window, managed to create an ice slide of sorts to get out of her second-story window, and ran for it.

	She was alone, scared, and she knew that she couldn't stay in Honolulu anymore, she just had to find her way off the island. After a few days, she had found a ship that was heading for the Continental US, and stowed-away on board. It didn't take her long to get caught, but the captain of the ship was sympathetic towards her, and he let her stay as long as she helped out around the boat. Even once they reached their destination, she asked if she could stay on, not even caring if she got paid or anything, and he let her, and he was glad that he did. When she was 16, the boat got caught in a nasty storm, the waves crashing into it, and it caused the ship to crash into something, creating a large hole in the side. At this point, she'd been learning to use her powers on her own, and now they were needed more than ever. She plugged the hole in the hull up, using her powers over ice to freeze it over so the ship didn't sink, at least until they reached the nearest port. The crew dubbed her a hero to them all, and she liked the idea of helping others.

	She stayed on with the crew for a few more years until she was 20, when she ended up catching the eye of Serval Industries who were putting together a corporate superhero team, and they asked her to join it. A little hesitant at first, she eventually decided to join the team known as X-Factor. This gave her the opportunity to help out those who really needed it, not just the crew on a ship, and with the help of Serval Industries, she was able to go to college, getting a degree in medicine. She enjoyed her time with X-Factor, making a few friends along the way on the team, but after 4 years of working with them, she realized that she needed to help others like her, having heard of the Mutant Underground, and she eventually found her way there, joining up with them.

	She had been on a mission for the Underground when she was caught by OMEN, and her worst fears were realized. Demetria hadn't been that scared since she discovered her powers. Though things were a little bit better once she made friends with one of the agents, Frederick Flynn, or as she liked to call him, Freddie. Eventually she was with those who were rescued from OMEN, and even though she had asked if he wanted to come with her, she parted ways with Flynn who went to go work for SHIELD.

	After that, she began to trust even less people, never telling anyone where she really came from, and she didn't really care to answer anyone if they used her actual name. She didn't want to get caught and turned into a lab rat ever again.
