[@Reflection] Glad you asked! This is actually a space-faring RP. The Red Line is made up of the frontier worlds of Origin territory, where the Shard is encroaching. Much of the motivation for soldiers to enlist is the thought of taking back worlds that were previously lost to the Shard. It’s a big galaxy, after all- no one wants to stay cooped up in in the core worlds, waiting for Shard to come kill them.
