Faust's plan was revealed too - he was attempting to use mortal children as pawns to advance the apocalypse. S.H.I.E.L.D. agents shut the school down, with most of them relocated to Emma Frost's academy in Massachusetts, where the headmistress graciously sponsored their tuition. For their bravery, October and Carolina were given a crisp high five from Phil Coulson. 

	Unfortunately, Mephistopheles managed to escape from S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. The apocalypse in Altsoba was barely prevented in time and it would not be until Coventry, after October herself gave her life, that the demon would be spared. Yet amongst this grim ending, there was one moment perhaps worth mentioning. Shortly after the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents came to collect Faust/Mephistopheles, October whispered to Carolina her feelings. 

	She kissed her friend, her lips tasting like fire, and knew that no matter what, she was excited for the road that lay ahead.
