Growing up he was ingrain with a strong sense of loyalty to his clan and the Horde as a whole. Due to his up bring in a soldier’s life made him quite coarse orc. As he has little need for polite words. Gronar is a practical orc relying on his experience and wisdom of older warriors for planning.

Born into the Warsong Clan his parents were grunts in the Horde. So as soon he was old enough his parents gave the choice of several weapons whatever weapon he picked he would train with. Selecting the greatsword he spent the next few year training with the rest of the young orcs in warfare. As well as learning a tradecraft to help in the clan. At the age of 12 Gronar performs his Om'riggor marking him as an adult. 
[b][color=FF0000]Adulthood:[/color][/b] Gronar spent several years honing himself farther before he join the Horde proper. Were he was first sent to guard Orgrimmar for his first assignment. This turns out to be a temporary assignment as soon Gronar was sent down to Silithus to battle the alliance there along with another member of the Horde. 
His first true campaign was the invasion of Outland. Fighting along with other members Warsong clan against the legions forces and later the Illidari. Although he did not participate in the assault on the black temple. He soon traveled back to his clan once most of the fighting in outland to be trying to become a wolf-rider.
But before Gornar could start his trial Orgrimmar was attacked by the forces of the Lich King. Upon hearing of this Gornar joined the Warsong Offensive along with the rest of expedition to the Borean Tundra. Form which he fought in the front line of the Hordes war effort.
