Penelope let out a long exhale as she focused her gaze on the ground. She was upset about hearing about the kiss but more so then that, she was upset that the news had come from Rikki. It had her wondering why Crow hadn't told her and if something did happen between him and Rikki in the future, it seemed to her now that there was a good chance she wouldn't find out about unless the female thief decided to rat him out to her again. Penelope frowned, wishing she didn't feel so paranoid. As Crow fell back besides her, the knight couldn't bring herself to look over at him at first and merely listened silently as he explained what had happened. She was a little glad to hear it wasn't as recent and that it didn't happen quite the way she had thought. Penelope had assumed the kiss must have happened during the time Rikki had tried to sleep with him. She was quick to recall that morning, remembering how unsettling it felt to see the two sleeping so closely together and being unable to do anything about it since they were still trying to hide their relationship from his companions. Eventually, she lifted her head to met his guilty gaze. "You're right, you shouldn't have." Penelope agreed with a frown. "I mean gods Crow, how would you feel if something like that happened between me and Gavin? And then I didn't tell you and the person you find out about it from is Gavin?" She shook her head and pulled her gaze away from his to look back down at the ground. "I trust that you didn't do it on purpose.. I just.. I just wished you would have told me about it then. I'm not saying I wouldn't have been upset but.. surely it would have been better than this." The knight paused and looked over at him. "Just.. Tell me, was that the only time?" she asked him in a timid voice as she recalled Rikki's other words. She had been quick to dismiss them as lies before but suddenly, the knight couldn't bring herself to dismiss them anymore. Penelope studied his expression as she waited for his answer. If something else had occurred between him and Rikki, or any other woman for that matter, she wasn't sure if he'd tell her the truth so it made her a bit more cautious of trusting him and his answer.
