When a hospital patient goes madly berserk and attacks an orderly, after showing signs of an unknown pathogen in their bloodstream, red flags are raised across the city of New York.However, when words such as “government” and “experimental” begin to circulate, the authorities quickly contain the incident.

The news media are turned away and gag orders are placed on all those involved in the incident under threat of federal prosecution. Word soon begins to spread of similar incidents, crazed people with blood in their eyes indiscriminately and violently attacking others. A freelance reporter (My Partner) refuses to back down, and dives in on a dangerous investigation to uncover the hidden truth. What they find is a trail of blood and conspiracy that leads to a terrifying discovery of what could potentially be the end of the world...

So basically this is a ZA RP set in the opening days of the outbreak, or rather set during [u]the events[/u] that lead to the outbreak. My partner (whomever they be), will play the part of an aspiring young reporter out to make a name for themself. And expose nothing but the truth to the people.

When word gets out of a brutal attack at a hospital and government agents become involved, it becomes clear this was no run-of-the-mill homeless druggie. Then when gag orders are placed and the attacker goes missing, it becomes clear that there is more to this morbid case than meets the eye.

My partner will basically be going on full detective/snoopy reporter mode to uncover the truth and find out what “the man” is hiding. Early on the RP will mostly be sneaking and snooping with occasional zombie attacks, police chases, FBI agents in suits and dark glasses, etcetera. As the RP moves forward things will become more chaotic and “apocalyptic”.
