Barely into the fight and Gren took some critical damage already! He was too careless; these bloodsuckers literally started to drain the life out of him before he could even react. Fortunately they went after him and not the other, less hardy party members, but even so he was hurting. Hurting bad enough that Orchid broke into a rage and tried to go after the bugs.

First he went after the big he had missed this time his strike would be true, and this time he would cleave the insect in two. He knew there was another who had attacked him nearby and not wanting to give it a chance to harm anyone the barbarian would track down the menace and try to slice its head off, possibly winging a few bars who got in the way.
