From her species, I have gathered that monsters such as herself take on a true form when they become of age, usually as a combination of their parents' genes, similar to dog breeds, just more complex, and with a great bit of randomness to it. The parents [i]do[/i] influence the outcome, but there are many possibilities. I cannot say for certain, but it appears that Jade's subspecies may be a Wendigo.
