• Bio: In her early childhood, Rin grew up relatively normal(considering the circumstances) in a small secluded village that was of no importance. Normal was just relative, however, as her parents had no clue about parenting and loved her a great lot. She was being pampered, had a great deal of freedom, and was, obviously, always in the right. Furthermore, Rin was somewhat of a [s]local[/s] legend. Bullying other kids and reigning supreme over the dominion of the sandpit. Growing just a bit older, Rin got increasingly frustrated of living in such a peaceful backwater village but ultimately couldn't do much about as she was still just a little brat. It was around this time, however, that she discovered her innate Psychic Drive — prompting her to a lot of trial and error. These tests didn't go on for too long though, as she accidentally messed herself up and put the growth of her body to a halt. Leaving somewhat of a mental scar on her, Rin decided to never touch this scary stuff again and instead become a submissive and good member of her village society. At least for a few years until she was sick of it all once more. This time, however, technically not being a little brat anymore she could tell her village commune to 'screw you all' and set out for far greater adventures. Having gotten her phobia about her own psychic drive somewhat under control, Rin decided to learn more about it at one of the great Academies. Beating up monsters sounded just like a bonus for her. • Armament: Nothing fancy. Just a standard-issue recon drone that isn't even her own. • Psychic Drive:
Re:Phrase, as Rin calls it, allows the girl to get additional information about her surroundings. Upon activation of Re:Phrase, the girl is able to see various characteristics of an entity: Like the nutrimental values of an apple or from which apple tree it came. The amount of information Rin has access to upon activation is generally too much to properly process. The girl can circumvent this, to a degree, by keeping Re:Phrase active only for a few seconds at a time and concentrating (or filtering) on a specific piece of information she wants. Regardless of how careful she is in using her Psychic Drive, Rin will always tire out sooner or later. The second characteristic of Re:Phrase is the ability to alter those values to a degree if she so desires. Thus, giving her a broad range of supportive and disruptive options. Rin seems to suffer from some sort of hurtful feedback from this use, however, that can range from simple headaches or tame nosebleeds to pure agony. It is worth noting that Rin can't really explain how she is using her power, and goes simply by her feels or, how she likes to say, guts. Lastly, the severity of the feedback seems to be a lot less against targets that she has a connection/relationship with. The stronger the bond, the less feedback. This is not something Rin's aware of, however.
• Extra:

Rin refers to herself as Rin-Rin sometimes because she thinks it sounds cuter.
Despite being Japanese, she pronounces the R hard.
Rin suffers from a phobia that makes her unable to use Re:Phrase on herself under any circumstances.
Rin can't do anything with the information provided from the aliens via Re:Phrase. They're too alien [s]for now[/s].
Despite her bubbly nature, Rin can also be seen a lot just sleeping or lying around, especially after missions.
Rin's eye glows upon using her Psychic Drive!
Despite popular belief, she doesn't have that much experience with technology. Very big. Bigger than a certain girl could have imagined big. Maybe even bigger than her confidence, but just maybe. It also smelled bad. Back at home, all one needed to do was climb up a tree and the entire village was in view. But here? No such thing. Here, despite being in an apparent outskirt district, she couldn't even see anything but more concrete! Just where did all the trees go!? "Ahem." Desperate times required simply more heroism. "AHEM." Her parents had told her countless times before leaving. "I said: AHEM!" 'Don't talk to weird looking strangers.' "Hey, you!" And here she was. "Huh, you talking to me?" Talking to weird looking strangers. "Do you see anyone else but you and Rin-Rin on the street!?" The man, carrying some grocery bags, took a slow look ar— "Too slow! No, of course not." - "Urgh. I have no time to play with you, kiddo." And he simply turned around again to walk away. "H-Hey! Don't just ignore me!" Taken aback for a moment, Rin this time simply ran in front of him - the male clearly not amused by this. "I, Rin-Rin, need your help!" Before he could say anything, the girl continued. "I'm lost!" He sighed. "Then go to the police station." For a second, Rin couldn't believe it. Just how could he!? But... it mattered not. That's why he would be nothing more than a background character for the rest of his existence. "No. Not like that. I'll make it quick and easy, just for you, a Rin-Rin special! I'm looking for the, uh, Academy? Yamato? Big fancy place of fanciness!?" A myriad of thoughts seemed to go through the mans head before he sighed once again and shook his head. "Whatever. I'll tell you kid, and then you leave me alone, right? It's..." He pointed to the east. "Somewhere there. There's a really tall tower, keep walking that way and soon you'll see it. How did you- actually, nevermind. Are we done now?" Not totally satisfied, Rin slightly shifted her head. East was the opposite direction of which she had walked so far. It was totally not left. "H-Hey, are you doubting me? Look, kiddo. I can't be bothered to deal with you and whatever, and neither do I care. You wanted to know where it is? I told you where it is." Despite his rather moody attitude, he nonetheless seemed genuine. "Good enough!" The girl nodded before giving him a slight bow. "Thank you weird stranger, I hope you'll never have kids yourself!" Not really sounding insulting, Rin quickly ran off eastwards.
