Inclining his head slightly in a gesture of thanks, Vitius calmly rubbed his wrists, finally glad that the accursed objects were no longer bound to him as though he were some kind of animal. "Which I'm not." He reminded himself firmly. Despite what those in his group or the Red Hoods might think and despite the things he did in the past to survive, Vitius felt that he should be treated with the same dignity and respect that everyone else was. Sighing in exhaustion from the days events, Vitius pulled his hood down further over his head to block out the light streaming into the room and crossed his arms over his chest as he carefully examined the other members in his group. He would be living, training, and eventually hunting alongside these people. Man and woman. Monster and human. They were a ragtag group if he'd ever seen one. If it hadn't been for the large military presence he'd seen on his way in, Vitius would've thought the Red Hoods were desperate to find new recruits. But they weren't desperate. That much he knew from experience... His thoughts were suddenly broken by the sound of a woman's voice. Cursing mentally for his inattention to the situation currently unfolding before him, Vitius returned his focus to the what was going on around him just in time to catch what seemed like the last parts of yet another speech, which made him wonder if sharing personal information would become the norm for his group. Shaking his head slightly, Vitius just barely stepped out of the shadows. It was enough for him to be seen by the others, yet not enough for the sunlight to burn him. "So we're trading life stories now? Alright. I guess it is a good idea for me, the resident full blooded vampire, to get acquainted with the rest of you." He said, first gesturing to himself and then to the other people in the room. "My name is Vitius Dragomir and I am, as you already know, a vampire. And in case you're wondering what I was before being turned, well it's simple. I was a guard. And as for the chains..." Vitius paused briefly to stare coldly at Eliza. "They stay off. And if you're worried about safety, don't be. I find it very hard to believe that the Hoods would just let me or anyone else here cause trouble in their keep." He said before falling silent and moving deeper into the shadows. Leaning back against the wall once again Vitius carefully watched those in the room, especially Finlay who's reaction to all that had just happened was still an uncertainty, to see how the situation would unfold.
