He could feel his hand moving towards the empty space on his belt where the sheathe for his sword would have been had he not been disarmed upon being captured. Vitius let out a tense and barely audible growl as he readied himself for the man's attack, only just noticing the small figure, a boy it looked like, standing in front of him. Was this person actually trying to defend him from being attacked? No, it couldn't be. No one trusted or cared about undead like him, or at least that was what he'd thought before this boy had decided to stand between him and his second death. Shaking his head, Vitius gently moved the boy out of the way of the man's arrow and stood in front of him. Looking back at the kid, whom he assumed was a spellcaster of some kind due to his strange clothing, Vitius calmly said: "There's no need for you to go risking your life for someone you hardly know kid, though I do admire your resolve." With that taken care of, Vitius turned his attention back to his attacker. "Listen." He said, his eyes narrowing into slits. "I don't know what your problem with me is or what kind of fucked up shit you may have gone through in the past, but I'd prefer it if you didn't try to murder me or anyone else in this room." He warned, his body tensing up even more as he saw the somewhat crazed and distant look in the man's eyes. Vitius wasn't sure how all of this would play out now, especially given his companions most recent actions, but he wasn't about to be caught off guard.[/center]
