Name: Carvis Griinschale Callsign: Fear Age: 22 Species: Uplift: Reptilian Appearance: Standing at about six feet and eight inches tall, Carvis sports a long body with an arrow shaped head, and rounded snout. Round, golden-red eyes seem permanently sculpted into a confident expression, rimmed by green eye ridges. The top of his head is a dirt tan color, sharply contrasting his vividly bright green scales with darker green speckles, and brown, pale, and tan banding down the center of his back. Due to the modifications required to function as a Pilot, Carvis has several external mechanical prostheses which take the appearance of spine like limbs. Carvis's form sports six such prostheses, four upon his back, and two behind his legs. In addition, despite being reptilian, the modifications gave Carvis the appearance of feminine curves, for some reason. Personality: It's not like you can't call Carvis jovial, but it's usually at the expense of others. He isn't exactly malicious about it, but his actions usually have a defiant, mischievous glint to them. Carvis seems to enjoy testing the bounds of authority, but does so with such a winning smile and an affable air that it's hard to stay mad at him. He's one of those who will attempt to get under someone's skin as a way to extend endearment. Despite not really having many problems with anyone else, not everyone is a fan of Carvis's attitude. He can be a bit cocky, especially when he has the upper hand. Biography: Coming from a core world of Origin, not many would see why Carvis would opt to join the military as a Pilot as readily as he did. His home planet was secure. His family was prosperous and numerous. However, there was one thing that most wouldn't answer for. As a reptilian uplift, there was one thing that, even for Carvis, was above all else- Protecting the clutch. To Carvis, the entire system was his clutch, and he was proud to protect it. Zi-Ro's body is typically kept low to the ground, with shorter arms and a long, balancing tail. The beast's lower back is covered with multiple thrusters, meant to augment the filamentous wings that sprout from the middle back. With a size comparable to most other Dragoons, Zi-Ro doesn't look like a strong physical fighter, despite the hardy armor plastered on its major forward portions. The base of the tail sports two retractable fins, which are used for signaling purposes. Personality: The two heads, designated Zi and Ro by Carvis, have a tendency to bicker with each other when it comes to food, and which one gets the killing blow. Despite this ornery quirk, Zi-Ro is a focused beast, though often a bit aloof. Classification: Knight Capabilities: Zi-Ro is equipped with a carrier grade transpositon matrix. This allows the unit to seamlessly disengage from one point of combat and set up for another within two hundred meters, though this requires the unit to remain still for a brief time. Zi-Ro is outfitted with one primary back mounted canon and two machine canons on the flanks, which deploy onto the arms for easy positioning and aim. These canons are somewhat unique in that they use physical rounds of munition instead of plasma emission. The rear fins function as both analog signals, as well as signal boosters and transmission interceptors, extending Zi-Ro's effective operating range significantly, while allowing it to support two more Dragoon units with minimal adjustments. Each head sports four eyes, the configuration of which allows for a near three hundred and sixty degree range of vision when properly positioned. The mouths of both heads are capable of large scale plasma emissions, but such a maneuver is significantly draining to both the Pilot and the Dragoon. Zi-Ro's thoracic cockpit offers haptic feedback via the Pilot's prostheses, though the optimization of this means that not every Pilot is able to interpret the output properly. Zi-Ro's single close-ranged option is a spear like weapon which allows for a significant distance to be maintained between itself and its targets, usually used to assist in a safe disengage. Finally, the unit sports an ionic barrier which, while exceptionally sturdy, has a low radius, causing Zi-Ro to curl inward when it is activated. This renders the unit suitably protected, but unable to move or retaliate with weaponry. This barrier uses the same power circuitry as the transpositioning matrix, and, as such, one can not be used while the other is engaged.
