The television was still on persumably on a movie channel that Joy had subsribed to. There was a scene playing, empty streets with lots of broken down cars and destroyed buildings. A person was running dodging the many cars that were scattered over the street. When he ran alongside a shuttlebus he suddenly got grabbed by the arm as the scene jumped to the person that got him. It was a zombie that gave a loud groan before it continued to eat its meal in nonchalant manner yet the groaning continued. Joy poked her head out from the covers of her bed while groaning quite deeply just like earlier. She continued to groan as she sat upright holding her hand against her head in pain. The sound of the television had been off since yesterday night, she had turned her television on to watch at something while she was clearly super drunk and couldn't sleep because of it. At least for a few minutes that was. Her mind started drifting to think about what she had done yesterday. Ordered too much booze was one but she also met a few new people. The two sisters who did perhaps the worst cover of tatu ever. At least that is what she thought. The crowd did seem to enjoy it too much. They were an energetic couple so she gave it to them for this once. She remembered the homeless man that had entered the club and almost fell unconscious from the lack of nutrition he had. She didn't have much to do with him but she thought it was quite sad for him to have ended up this way. She could tell it wasn't because of his own stupid actions that he had ended up this way. He was too kind to have been the cause of that. She offered him a small deal, just that much she could do right. She gave him a letter with her address, name and phone number and told him that he could stay at her place for a few nights or get some money or food. She didn't want to completely take care of him but just the least so he could get back to work again and earn something for himself. Dustynn who had been so kind to her to help chose a drink and even give her one for free. She did seem like the cool type, even helping the homesless man with some food and water. Joy would want to meet her again someday and not as job. Marcus had been her general talk person the entire night even though she hadn't said much. It was a nice man to be around, he even was so kind to chat with her about non related work stuff. Chosing singing over cleaning though, she couldn't agree less. Joy would gladly meet him again the next time she would go. Or outside work, she never caught any of their names however which was quite sad. Well it was probably better to not meet them for a while anyhow seeing as how she had clearly fallen asleep at the bar and was escorted out when the club was gonna close. She clearly had had too much yesterday. She barely even managed to find her bicycle to drive home. Let stand get home... Oh well. Joy gave another growl while rolling towards the side of her bed to watch on her phone. She was awake before her alarm. She had to get up early again in order to work, it probably won't be a good idea to work but she had to. Joy rolled with her blanket of her bed tumping onto the hard wooden floor and stood up slowly shuffeling through the clothes scattered room to shower. While she was on her way she managed to find a pizza slice on the kitchen counter from yesterday evening to nibble on. It was cold but tasty. After a long shower session she moved out with but a towel protecting her as she dressed herself in her work uniform and did her hair just like any other day. She 'cleaned' up he room a little before moving out.
The club she had gone to yesterday slowly came into view as she was cycling to work. It was... smouldering!? Joy picked up the pace and stopped alongside the street to watch in awe. Perhaps the first time she was showing sympathy on her face. What had happened? The building had colapsed unnaturally and caught flame. She stared at the rubble for quite some time before spotting the owner. It was too sad for words, what had happened in that short amount of time. Was it her bad luck? Or just an unfortunate accident. Joy gulped and spoke to the owner to show her sympathy. "I feel sorry for your club mister. I give you my best of wishes and luck." Joy kept it short since she was just another customer at his club. She shouldn't keep him to long. He probably was quite busy after this accident. Joy continued to her work just around the corner and stepped in with a wrecked look on her face. Atleast she was the one to open so she didn't have to hear from her colleagues that she looked this bad. She removed all the seats from the tables and brewed herself her own coffee as startup together with some freshly baked food from the back of the store. She patiently waited at the counter for her first customers. There wasn't much else to do anyhow.
