Quick question. Do we start as criminals, or can we make characters who had jobs and/or lives that they left to join the Order?

Also, do you have any examples of what armor worn by Rangers under the command of King Hromir (if I recall correctly) looks like? I'd just like to know so I can find art that's similar in style.
