It’s odd to think about how one can glorify murder, but a young Anna certainly did. She lived to see each and every one of those slimy law-breakers brought to slow, brutal, and pulpy justice in the Reality Games. And so, when she was old enough, she went through just about every hoop, ringer, and scheme she could to be one of those pilots. She never got the spot. It's precise as it is attention-grabbing. The Greater Liberator holds up to 3 double-drum magazines of anti-tank bullets at a time. Each magazine can hold up to 100 bullets. With options to switch from a single-target mode to a bullet-spray mode, the word "overkill" doesn't begin to describe this weapon. When firing the weapon, the gun selects which magazine to fire from. A bullet is then loaded into the firing chamber. A hammer strikes the back of the bullet igniting the chemical reactant. The bullet then travels from the chamber and through the barrel. As it does so, chemical components within the bullet itself breakdown creating an imitation plasma bolt. These fake plasma bolts hold enough power that they can melt NC armor and can travel up to 5 miles (3km). [*][i][b]Rocket Fist (Left):[/b][/i] A weapon of pure showmanship, the Rocket Fist is a rather simple weapon. It is a hand capable of flying away from the main body to give an extra-powerful robot punch. At the end of the fist sit concealed rockets. With a verbal command, the fist is shot in the desired direction toward a target. In the case of the Lug, the fist is attached to a durable 25 feet (8m) cord which allows the fist to be reloaded or used as a mace. It makes for great fanfare. [*][i][b]NT-70-19 Missile-Launchers and WH-T-1 Missiles "Destroyer And The Sweeps" (x4):[/b][/i] Mounted onto the back of the Lug sit four destroyer-class missile launchers holding missiles dubbed "The Sweeps." Named for their ability to sweep battlefields for targets, these missiles lock onto a moving object's heating signature and don't stop until their target has been hit. With enough fuel to last an hour, the best way to get rid of them fast would be to just shoot them down. While able to destroy tanks, on an NC these missiles do little more than pierce surface armor. [*][i][b] W-40-K Sonic Chain-Knife:[/b][/i] A simple tool with two toothed chains which pull in opposite directions. This "knife" is made from a synthetic, durable "meta-metal" and reinforced with carbon nanotubes. Both blades vibrate at sonic speeds as they shred through materials. It produces a high-pitched sawing noise when active, thus making a terrible weapon for stealth. [*][i][b]Meta-Metal Shell:[/b][/i] A highly effective, but cumbersome armor shell. Much like the Chain-Knife, this armor is made from a durable "meta-metal," protecting the Lug fairly well from most attacks and extremely well when engaged in melee. However, the armor has its downsides. The armor is immensely heavy, to the point of impeding the Lug's movement range as well as its speed. The armor makes what could be a decent NC and effectively makes it a wall with mounted guns. With a lean build and brown eyes, he’d blend into any crowd. That is until you notice his fingers were lost long ago and replaced with cybernetics. [b]Age:[/b] 20 [b]Sex:[/b] M [b]Personality:[/b] The best word to describe Julian would be charismatic. Among Red-Star’s NC forces, he is easily one of their most optimistic. Julian hardly seems like a properly trained soldier. This is due to his clumsy mannerisms. However, when under the right conditions, his attitude will flip from cheerful and relaxed to harsh and brooding. He has nothing but praise for the oppressive force that is Red-Star’s governing body. It wouldn’t be too far off to assume they’re “programmed” speeches, as they sound like propaganda. It isn’t too uncommon to hear him spout these words while in the heat of combat. [b]Background:[/b] Julian was born as a gene-serf in Paragon. Life was dull and so he would often bet with others in secrecy to pass the time. This got Julian wrapped up with some rather nasty people who would ultimately force Julian to take the fall whenever they were caught. Eventually, he was imprisoned enough times that one of the lords took notice. The lord began pulling Julian aside to ‘test’ him. Usually, these tests were just thinly-veiled excuses for punishment. Other times they were more bizarre. People would often ask why the Lord had taken an interest in him, but Julian never could give an answer. Testing to see if his synch-rate would improve by continually repeating the process? It seemed like a waste of time. However, through these tests, it was discovered that Julian was incredibly talented at synchronizing with NCs. He was rushed through Agent training. And while he made a decent sniper, Julian was sloppy. He’d managed to get caught in a fight with Red-Star soldiers and then... --- Those were just dreams. That’s what he had been told by the doctors. Julian saw no reason to argue. They were nothing but visions of a life that never was. He was never the plaything of some lord in Paragon. He was never an Agent. He was born as a slave, an orphan. He had to have been. He could remember every beating. He could remember every insult he’d ever received. He could vividly remember losing his fingers in a factory accident. They were crushed by the hydraulic machines which pressed the packaging of food goods. The phantom pain was still there. He felt it every night in his stumped knuckles. He was misguided. This weapon's machine interface allows the pilot to see possible shot trajectories from a given vantage-point as well as a count for how many rounds remain in the current magazine. A standard magazine holds up to 30 rounds of ammunition. The "rounds" of this particular gun are sized to be akin to that of a 23mm caliber anti-aircraft bullet and encase an explosive payload at the tip. The rounds are propelled through the gun using two magnetized rods of opposing polarity. Once fired, the rounds will travel at top speeds, producing minor shrapnel and forcing the payload forward for a distance of 30 to 65 miles(48km to 104km) depending on weather conditions. [*][i][b]TSL-06-2 Stun Whip[/b][/i]: A whip which is built into the hand of the Nuckelavee. When activated, a 16 foot (5m) whip extends from a hidden compartment within the Nuckelavee's right hand. Jumpers at the base of the hand can attach themselves to the deployed whipcord and charge it with electrical energy. When charged, the whip can disrupt powerful energy-fields and even momentarily stun unprotected machinery by channeling volts to the pilot of an NC. The user of the whip can comfortably adjust the voltage of the whip from inside the cockpit through verbal commands. However, the whip has a limiter of 50,000 volts. [*][i][b]C-80 Signal-Jammer Mines (x5)[/b][/i]: Small motion-activated signal-jammers in the shape of flat disks. These tools are small enough to fit into the hand of an NC. Powerful magnets located on either surface can attach these bombs to any metal surface. When activated, these mines can jam radio signals within a 50ft(15m) radius from the center of the mine. [*][i][b]Energy-Disruptor Field:[/b][/i] A protective barrier which blocks potential damage from energy-based weapons (such as lasers or plasma). When hit, it scatters the oncoming energy force and disperses it through the shield. However, this ability draws quite a bit of power away from the Nuckelavee's other key abilities such as mobility. As a result, this is often sparingly used. [*][i][b]B//A-38 Power-Shield (Heater-Shape Variant):[/b][/i] In order to compensate for the Nuckelavee's low defensive options, it is equipped with a triangularly-shaped variant of the B//A-38 Power-Shield. The shield contains an internal battery within its triangular core. The metal external shell of the battery allows it to deflect physical attacks. The battery of the shield itself projects a hard-light energy-shield of a greater area to fully cover the Nuckelavee from any front-facing attacks. Being able to withstand point-blank tank-fire, the B//A-38 makes the Nuckelavee far more intimidating in melee combat than it ever could be without it. [/list] [/hider]
