With tungsten-tipped bullets firing at a higher velocity than would be normally allowed for such a gun, the M1917 succeeds in penetrating body armor normally employed my modern-day forces. Trench Gun: A simple, yet powerful shotgun. First deployed in the muddy trenches of World War 1, it is sure to make a bloody mess of anyone. Zhao now uses it to breach doors and clear rooms with brutal efficiency. Also comes with a bayonet. For decratory purposes, of course. Various shotgun ammo Dragon’s Breath Rounds: Incendiary ammunition for shotguns. Make big fire. Breaching ammo: Used with a shotgun, typically aimed at the hinges of a door. Slug Ammo: Loaded for longer-ranged engagements or heavily-armored targets. Thunder Rounds: Produces a blinding flash of light accompanied by a 180db sound.
Gadgets
Titanium-Steel Plate: Zhao’s joints as well as his head, torso and groin are protected by this sturdy, yet comfortably weighty armor. Rated for mid-powered rifles such as the AK-74 or the M4A1. SAFE Helmet: A bulletproof helmet rated the same as the rest of his armor. Triples as a gas mask and ear-muffs. Stingball Grenade: A grenade that explodes into a storm of rubber pellets. Zhao learned that he needed a non-lethal option after shooting a high-value target point-blank with a thunder round.
Personal Information
Role: Shock Trooper/Breacher – His job is to rush in, make a mess, and get out. Simple. Allegiance: Pale Horse, unless the CDR can give him a better offer. Personality: Zhao is Straight to the point, and does not like to use many words to communicate his position if he doesn’t have to. This doesn’t mean that he is an asshole, however. His vocabulary skills are just… Subpar. Bio: John Zhao took part in a Chinese counter-terrorism unit, taking part in many operations during his service, mainly in urban areas. After six years in the service, he was discharged from service and promptly moved to Europe in order to serve in the SAS. He was the bottom of his class, but nevertheless, he made it. With the detonation of the bombs across England and the resulting mercenary war, Zhao decided that it was better money working as a contractor. It also helped that as a merc, he was allowed to fully showcase his fondness for history. To be brief, he doesn't like to rely on electronics or modern technology, at least when it comes to weapons. To him, simple is better.
