Ryan, or Satoshi if you really want, was born in Japan to American parents who held business interests in the country. Growing up, he was always the nail that stuck out. Blonde hair, different complexion, different physical attributes. He never really quite fit in. He developed a love for sports and the outdoors through his formative years, participating in various different clubs and teams. As he aged, the social stigma of being a foreigner slowly faded as he made friends through school. One of his parent's business interests was a sushi restaurant. After school and club activities, he can be found in the restaurant, apprenticing. 

Around the time he finished his post-secondary education, his parents decided to retire and move back to the United States, deciding to settle in Sol City. Being raised bilingual, the language part of fitting back in was not a problem. The cultural adjustments were slightly harder. However, being on the Pacific Northwest, his love for the outdoors and fresh seafood was satisfied. With a small loan from his parents, he decided to open his own restaurant, serving traditional Edo-style sushi.


Actor Claim: Travis Fimmel. I didn't find a picture of him that I liked. However, I like him as an actor soooo. He plays Ragnar in Vikings, among other things.
