the book and the movie have the same main character....and that is about where the similarities end. He was the only jumper, there was no secret group of people hunting him down to kill him. He only met Milly After he moved to New York. The only people that were chasing him were the CIA and it was more cause he was attacking terrorist who where plane hijackers. So they didn't want to kill him, they wanted to enlist him. Basicly the only part that was the same was everything leading up to and including the first bank robbery. After that everything is diffrent. Oh except Milly wasn't there at all.
