[hider=A Wild Waterworld] Almost eighty years ago, a massive asteroid collided with the earth, striking the south pole. The immense heat caused the Antarctic ice-shelves to melt resulting in rising ocean levels that flooded more than two thirds of the Earth's landmasses. In the decades since, dry land has become the sole property of the elite, leaving those of lesser means to eke out their existences in haphazardly connected floatilla villages. Until recently it was believed that the global flooding was the only consequence of the disaster, however for the past few months there have been sightings of humanoid figures seen swimming far out at sea by passing fishing ships. These figures would always disappear into the depths as curious sailors grew close and so, as of yet, no one has been able to make contact with these mysterious water-dwellers.[/hider][hider=The Extra-Terrestrial Integration Program]Roughly a year ago, the entire world was thrown on it's head with the sudden arrival of an intelligent spacefaring alien race. Many feared that the arrival of these beings heralded the begining of an intergalactic war. However, after a tense first contact with these visitors from beyond the stars, it became apparent that this was not an invasion. These aliens, calling themselves Avesians, were the last survivors of their race, having fled their homeworld of Aves to avoid a planet wide catastrophe. They came to Earth, not as invaders, but as refugees, seeking to assimilate into Earthling society rather than return to the cold of space. After spending the months since their arrival contained up in their ship, the Avesians have finally reached an agreement with some of the governments of Earth. Certain Avesians will be permitted to live among Humans, staying in chosen households in a form of extraterrestrial "homestay", to determine whether the two species can truly co-exist.[/hider][hider=War of the Wombs]Earth is under attack! An intelligent hostile alien race has invaded. They don't want our land. They don't want our resources. They want our men! Victims of a self-inflicted bioweapon, these aliens are facing extinction as their males die out. Which each new generation giving birth to fewer and fewer males. Fortunately for them, and unfortunately for us, it turns out that they're genetically similar to enough to us to make interbreeding possible. And now they plan to reinvigorate their numbers by stealing our men.[/hider]
