Don't know if this is still active or looking for applicants, but here's my egg.
You are a product, of your environment.
Name: Dion Celine Callsign: Odin Age: 22 Species: Human Appearance: Dion stands at the humble stature of five feet and ten inches. His features would predominantly be defined as pale, snow-white skin, dull gray eyes, and matching hair that seems to brighten from gray to a wispy white towards the top of his scalp. His voice and facial features would be the clearest giveaways to the young man’s actual age, though to most whom don’t know him personally it’s likely an enigma. Dion is usually clad in formal attire, dress shirts and suede coats occupying the majority of his wardrobe. Another notable feature would be the clear as day black eyepatch covering his left socket, it was the only visible mark of warfare he carried on his person or so the average passerby would think. The aura he would exhume would translate to “proper” or perhaps something that makes him feel so, his pace was a steady and careful march with the clacking of his bootheels, the adjusting of his gloves every once in a while, the way he spoke would persuade those whom his words were aimed to that perhaps he was a servant in a past-life? But that is far from the reality. Personality: Wise beyond his time, perhaps too wise? Since an early age young Dion has cared little for else other than challenge. Physical competition, battle of wits, anything to push him to his limits or force him to improve himself in one way or another. It was perhaps the lack of a mother that drove the boy to this terrible habit, or perhaps it was his shell of a father whom allowed Dion to do whatever he wished. Regardless, the results of this immeasurable competitiveness created a bit of a god complex within the boy. He felt invincible, and nothing would come to put the boy in check. That was until the incident where Dion lost his left eye. Not because it happened through something that the boy would qualify as a loss, but rather the lack of control in the situation and the visible evidence of this every time he looks in the mirror. Biography: The Celine family was once quite renown for their bravery. Not for warfare or exploration, but rather in funding research projects that many would laugh at. Argo Interstellar was one of the companies they funded in their campaign, paying off greatly. This was of course decades ago, but many of those funding endeavors paid off with time and now while the family is small and tucked away on an origin planet it also sits on an unimaginable fortune. Dion being the only child and heir to the Celine fortune was of course raised a blue-blooded aristocrat. He was homeschooled, taught courtesy and cleanliness, but not quite properly patented. The Estate was full of a diverse family of people that kept the apparatus afloat, and many of these working class men and women were more so role models than his own mother and father. The groundskeepers taught him his love for botany and the countless uses for specific flora, one in particular a Curtis Aren spent several hours of his day teaching Dion medicinal uses of the herbs around the estate itself. The maids taught him style, and social skills, Dion’s father preferred younger housekeepers so the women were the closest to boy’s age and many developed a sister-like bond with him. It was the guards that he clung to the most as he grew older though. Most of them were decent men and women, a little irresponsible however. Firearms, combat training, letting out aggression, these were many of the things they taught Dion fairly early in life. He also enacted dangerous games with them, making bets that would often result in injury of himself or them, knife fighting was common amongst them and he picked it up at the age of thirteen. He lived a bit of a double life as he carried on his standard routines while sneaking in time with them. His father was a creature of vice, often leaving the estate for weeks at a time for luxurious vacations or frivolous spending binges and never really noticed Dion’s presence regardless. His mother Eleanor however stayed at home and managed, making sure the estate was properly cared for and the staff payroll was on schedule. As Dion reached his mid-teens, his mother whom eventually caught on to his dangerous pastimes would make efforts to stop them. She fired nearly half the guards, and restricted the boy to the household. But this outrage would have an after effect worse than Dion’s disapproval, a retaliation. Many of the guards relied on the Selene’s pay to survive, some had families and little other way to support them, and in its infancy the ex-guards plan was a simple robbery scheme. They had known the estate inside and out, and even had layouts of the main house. But as the plan reached its completion, some of them had grown power hungry, Dion was close to them and they had thought with the family out of the picture he could support them much better than his parents did. A hostile takeover was the new plan, one that involved removing both mother and father out of the picture. A little more than half the guards remained to protect the estate, but they were met with those who were removed along with a handful of paid mercenaries with ambitions to stick their hand in this honeypot. It was a tight operation, happening in the middle of the night while the naive Dion slept silently. He awoke to a home full of hostages and armed men and women, the most notable was Miller, an elderly guard that was more of a father-figure to Dion than his biological. Miller held a bound and wounded Eleanor by her hair, he was a completely different person. A part of Dion’s psyche snapped, seeing his “family” turn against eachother was a bit too much for the youth to handle. Rather than rationally submit, or lie, he instead halfheartedly attacked the man with fruitless effort. Witnessing Dion’s defiance, the opposition decided to execute Eleanor as she was the only person who knew their identities and they had already extracted the information they wanted from her. It was a traumatic experience for the remaining staff and Dion himself. When his father returned, the numbed out man did little else than prepare a funeral and paid hush money to the staff that wished to go to authorities. Dion withdrew himself into his studies until a man arrived claiming to be a recruiter of sorts. An old battle buddy had recommended he swing by the estate years ago, and now that pilots were in more dire need at this time has finally made the efforts to come by. Dion was this man as an omen of new things to come and volunteered himself to the program immediately. Favors: Coffee, Barbecue, Chess, Cheese, Cute Things, Mint, Cold Weather Disfavors: Sweets, Large amounts of blood, Seafood, Heat, Ice Cream Affinities: The boy is a swift learner, and capable of executing the knowledge he absorbs quickly and skillfully. This consistent talent has provided Dion with an unusual success rate on missions that is typically seen in the hardened veterans of the program. He is a grossly capable pilot, one whom chooses to ignore the obvious drain and discomfort and instead boast the joys he has in being chosen rather than your typical militant fighting to no avail. Photographic memory assists with study and planning, and when he is deeply entertained by the idea of something he sets his mind to it completely. While this could spill over into his faults, he does have a one-track mind and it a double-edged sword in this line of work. Often you will find Dion slaving away with his team members before a mission in an attempt to iron out every possible option, it even keeps him awake at night - along with other things. Faults: Dion is too confident, and has too much faith in his own abilities. Often he will take more weight upon his shoulders than he can handle, then crashes and burns when it becomes too much. He also borders irrational when odds are stacked against him, feeling that he will always be able to figure his way out of most situations. In summarization this twenty-two year old man needs a loud and abrupt reality check on his mortality before he gets himself and others killed. Text Color: B0C4DE Theme Song: A delusion that won't come true.

Name: Gungnir Appearance: The great spear of Odin, Gungnir is a vicious, unyielding dragon that is small by dragon standards. She is long and slender, almost snakelike other than the small tufts of fur at the head and small reptilian hands at her fore body. Her snout is the largest part of her body, elongated to a horrifying molten hot spear tip. She is also adorned with golden armaments, mechanical fastenings along the aerodynamic points of the dragon to assist in changes to the body. And lastly the wings, large, reinforced, razor sharp blades made for slicing through enemies without remorse. She was indeed a weapon more than a living, breathing creature, but not to Dion - she was a unlimited font of potential. Personality: Gungnir is a lot like Dion and thus allowed for their compatibility so swiftly. She is an egotistical, aggressive, dragon whom likely struggles with a Napoleon Complex and seeks to prove herself. There are positives though, she is deeply fond of Dion and believes in him and just as strongly as he does to her. Not to mention her aggression towards others when speaking down to him and it seems at times that she may even be overly attached. On the battlefield she is far different, a concentrated arrow fired by a master archer that always hits his mark. She doesn't handle failure well, just like her pilot should damages or loss be the result of her own ineptitude tantrums are often and frequent and sometimes they result in the injuries of Dion himself or other pilots. It is a steadily less often event, though Gungnir has already earned the reputation of being unpredictable. Classification: Knight Capabilities: Odin’s spear, the swaying one. She is a weapon of the gods and a piercing omen of death aimed to the throats of the enemy, and that enemy is the Shard. Knight is Gungnir’s classification, the serpentine spear of death slips in and out of the battlefield carefully taking out specific enemies with quiet precision. Her wings in particular are diamond hard and capable of splitting unguarded opponents into two bits of molten mess. She is hot and I don’t mean aesthetically, her body’s internal heat rages to obscene temperatures that enhance her piercing and cutting potential as thermal energy is redirected to the spines and edges of her body. She is also capable of firing a thin concentrated beam of thermal energy at short range. This allows her to open up more reinforced enemies for allies or herself to exploit. Her abilities aren’t the most diverse so you could call her a specialist, she is an infiltrator not in the sense that she is stealthy or unpredictable but rather because she is able to execute specific enemies in a short period of time with little resource. She is an assassin of Shard, and piloted by a overly confident tactician who revels in “winning”. Her "spear" is the dragon's snout, and the reasoning for her name is what this piercing weapon is capable of. Internal thermal heat is stored in the spear and raised steadily till the maws of the dragon glow a blistering white, then she tucks her wings in and stores as much energy permitted as aim is taken on whatever target(s) the spear is aimed at. She then extends her wings to brace herself and fires off at full speed towards what she has aimed at, shield, armor, structure, typically cannot withstand the force and heat of this attack, While not able to be recklessly utilized, this ability is able to be used two to three times within a single skirmish with careful planning and consideration.
