Dan looked solemnly at the floor, sure Indy had said it was his fault too but Dan shouldn't have suggested it in the first place.

Dan only smiled a little when his friend offered support to help talk to his father.

"No, I think this one is my deal. I want to talk to him alone. I'll tell you anything important." He said as he looked back towards the lobby, he'd noticed Margo get up but he couldn't look at her, the guilt of dragging her into this weighing on him.

"Margo. I'm....Sorry. I wasn't thinking, I just wanted to prove myself to you guys so bad, and it caused you and your Pokémon to get hurt. I should've just listened to you. So much for me being a world class trainer I guess." He said as he stepped out of the room, popping his head back in to say
"Twiggy is still in the clinic. He got hurt really bad. He needs another hour, can you guys make sure to pick him up? I can't wait around to pick him up myself. Dad's got to leave really soon." He said going back into the hallway.
