Elizabeth blinked and found herself looking at him again. She managed to keep herself from blushing. She could not really manage a nod with him holding her chin like that though. She blinked again when she noticed him leaning in closer. She very nearly gasped when he asked to kiss her. She gulped and took a breath. She spoke in a whisper. 
"y...yes."
She did not notice any knocking yet.



James noticed her blushing. He wondered what she was thinking while that maid knocked on that door.
