The next day Penelope was up early despite her late night out and set to work on helping her comrades in getting the camp back to normal. For the majority of the morning, she spent her time with Tomas as he and a small group of knights did inventory. The battle had been rather harsh and quite a few weapons had been damaged in the process. Usually they would replace them right away with new ones but since they were low on supplies, they had to be more careful with what they replaced. A sword with a scratch or small chip would likely have to wait until they received new supplies while more broken ones were tossed out right away. "I think we finally finished it.. Only took us three days." Tomas sighed as he held up half of a sword. "We had a lot to cover and this was only a small part of it." Penelope reminded him with a small shrug. She held out the sack they had for the broken weapons and let the older lieutenant toss it in before she tied it close. "I suppose you're right." Tomas mused. He glanced around the tent with a tired gaze. "I just hope the supplies get here soon." "Has Mia mentioned anything about them coming in?" "I believe she got a letter saying that our request had been received by the king but now it's just a waiting game. It'll probably be another week or so before the supplies actually get here." Tomas told her. Penelope nodded her head, a bit relieved to hear that they wouldn't have to wait too much longer. "That's not bad.. Younis likely won't even be able to recover that quickly so we still have a chance to keep things from turning in their favor." she said. So long as Jaxon doesn't strike again beforehand.. she thought uneasily. Suddenly wanting to change the subject, she shifted her gaze towards the exit. "Anyways, what's next?" she asked, wanting to move on to their next task. "Let's report to the barons that this is done. Then maybe we can start helping out at other spots of the camp." Tomas answered her. He turned and began to walk out of the tent and Penelope followed quietly behind him.
