As the lizard began talking, Lance felt a bead of what he assumed was sweat roll down his face. He started backing away from the fire, continuing until he was at a more comfortable temperature. It seemed that this new body of his wasn't very tolerant of heat. Now that he thought about it, one would expect a slight chill at the very least inside of a dark, damp cave like this one, but he hadn't felt any discomfort from the cold, even before the fire was lit. The explanation was long, but Lance did at least have some idea of the rules of this world. He wasn't entirely sure how these 'types' worked yet, but he assumed he'd figure it out on his own eventually. According to Trevor, his were Dark and Steel. Considering that his entire body appeared to be covered in metal, it made sense. It seemed that certain types had advantages against others, meaning that he'd have to remember which ones he would have the upper hand against, and which would have the upper hand against him. On top of that, he wouldn't know at first which type the other Pokemon belonged to. Some of the others opted to go out into the storm. "I will not be joining you. I'd advise all of you to stay here as well, but if you really insist on going..." Lance stood up, and walked to the mouth of the cave. Remembering where he'd seen the light, he pointed one of his daggers in that direction. "You should try searching over there. That's where the light was." He then returned to his place at the fire. "Also, I would keep an eye on our serpentine 'friend' if I were you."
