Frankly after the fall of Newnan, she never expected they will find another organized group of people, even be they the military despite Ash's opinions on the subject while they were moving towards this place. She had half expected that all of civilization was more or less wasted, but here she was proven wrong... for now anyways. What they were told wasn't something she was happy about hearing though... Giving them all their weapons and supplies... How could they be sure that these guys wouldn't harm them all later? Hell how could they be sure they would be treated as humans even! Amelia was clearly concerned about it as Riley led her to the arriving transports. She couldn't bring herself to trust those people... She stuck as close to Riley as possible. The only reason she complied with it all was because Riley did it and she herself did trust Ash enough to follow his directions on even this. By no means did she like it though! She was brought to trembles when she had to put down her baseball bat and was nearly suffering from a panic attack by the time she was waiting for the search. Aside the clothes on her back, she had nothing left! She had to half hide behind Riley, half press as close as she could for some peace of mind. She didn't damn like this! All that passed through her mind were the worst case scenarios that her paranoid psyche could formulate.” I don't like this... what if something goes wrong and we've got nothing?!” She asked out to Riley. Frankly she wasn't even sure if she would be able to stand the body search... "Riley, please stay close to me... I will protect you if something happens..." She said quietly to her love and threw panicked looks around. She now knew well enough that nothing was really safe... even the safety these people promised! She wasn't going to blindly believe... until proven wrong. If proven wrong that was. She just hoped they wouldnt ne used as slaves or food or anything. Her mind was continuing to create bad scenarios for her to paranoidly concern herself with.
