That could lead into a bit more drama too since after Penelope defeats Jaxon she's going to be panicking to get Crow help. Which, maybe could come in the form of Hartley and/or Jane? Hartley could help her get him out of the main battle area and then maybe they get Jane because Penelope's desperate and I imagine the knights would at least take on healer with them since the spot isn't too close to their camp. 

I figure that could also help to tie in Hartley a bit more since we've only caught a glimpse of him. Maybe he's even the enemy that Penelope's fighting which is another reason why she doesn't notice Jaxon about to ambush her? Possibly because she's just trying to figure out why he's there in the middle of battle xD
