He hasn't forgotten everything, but he is fuzzy on most of it. Hell, he doesn't even know how he died, but if the folklore is to believed he either led a life of sin (entirely plausible) or suffered a violent end. Perhaps it is better that he does not remember much. Cosmin does remember pulling himself for the grave twelve years ago. It was a lot of hard work. He was pretty confused about the whole situation, but was fortunate enough to run into another supernatural being (a werewolf, funnily enough; Savina) before the hunger pangs set in and he found himself tearing people apart for food. Savina and Cosmin became good friends, with the former taking the later in and guiding him through the hidden underworld that he had previously been unaware of. Eventually the two formed a romantic bond, and lived this way for five years. Unfortunately, due to someone (them? A friend? Cosmin still does not know) tipping off the location of Savina and other members of her pack to the local werewolf hunters. Cosmin returned to their home to find Savina had simply vanished. Cosmin never saw her again, but was made painfully aware of just how secretive the supernatural needed to keep their existence; although most of them hugely overpowered a single, or even a small group, of humans, it did not mean that they were bulletproof. In the following year, Cosmin met Sorcha, an aos sith, when acquiring blood from a local hospital. They would often talk when Cosmin arrived and it was not long before Sorcha was tagging along with the strigoi, regardless of his wishes. Sorcha imposed herself into Cosmin's life. Sorcha had not been in the human world for very long, having only recently found how to pass over from the Seelie court. Sorcha enjoyed the human world so much, she found herself running away from home; she should not be here and the aos sith have been trying to find and return her for years. In order to maintain a link with the human world, Sorcha must partake of human flesh every six months; the rest of the year she is able to eat mortal food. Cosmin and Sorcha have made it a habit of 'celebrating' her biannual blood fest, as they call it. As well as needing to hide from mortals so as to keep themselves safe, supernaturals need to avoid the obsessive humans who take a shine to the realms of the supernatural. Cosmin found this out the hard way after developing what he believed to be a platonic (and not particularly close) relationship with a human, Lexi, who was already aware of supernaturals (they were introduced through a friend of a friend at some gathering). Cosmin had been apart from the human world for so long, he thought the insight into it again would be both interesting and healthy. Unfortuantely, Lexi took an extended interest in Cosmin, particularly after she discovered that he was a 'vampire'. Lexi then persued Cosmin in an attempt to become a vampire herself; in short, Cosmin quickly found himself being stalked. It was a hugely unpleasant situation, forcing Cosmin to move to a different part of the city to try and break ties with Lexi. Cosmin took the first place he could find; a flat share with another mortal. This time Cosmin was determined to keep the supernatural things under wraps. [/sub]

[sub] Savina - Girlfriend, deceased (?), Fellow Supernatural - Cosmin still loves Savina, but he has since moved on from her apparent death. Even though the attack was on werewolves (and thus, Cosmin was never in harms way) he has some survivor's guilt over her disappearance. Sorcha Ruane - Best Friend, Fellow Supernatural - Cosmin and Sorcha have been close friends for seven years. Sorcha helps keep Cosmin fed in ways less brutal than how he might feed alone. There relationship is full of dumb pranks and teasing, with Sorcha usually coming out on top at the end of their hijinks. Lexi Hall - Stalker, Mortal - A human who was already a part of the supernatural scene when Cosmin befriended her; Cosmin is not entirely sure who introduced Lexi to supernaturals in general or to him, but she was a 'friend of a friend' who he slowly got to know. Over the course of their friendship, Lexi developed an unhealthy attachment to Cosmin's vampirism and desperately wanted to be turned, despite Cosmin repeatedly refusing. Things got really weird and Cosmin basically did a runner. However, his skin is ashen and his features hollow, giving him the appearance of being permanently ill, which only contradicts the vitality and strength in his movements. The shade of Cosmin’s eyes is difficult to determine as they sometimes appear pale blue and other times grey. Cosmin has thick, golden hair that is kept short at the sides and messy on top. Cosmin wears a plain black ring in his septum. Cosmin is not traumatised by his existence, nor is he hugely curious to find out more about his past (who he was before he died or even how he died). However, Cosmin is apprehensive around mortal humans due to their potential to persecute supernatural beings or to venerate them in bizarre and creepy ways (Cosmin has no desire for another stalker), so he keeps his unlife a secret as best as possible, while still trying to enjoy it. Cosmin also detests the word 'vampire', for although he is very similar (and even arguably a type of vampire himself), he hates the way that modern media has portrayed them. It means people (supernatural or otherwise) have hugely incorrect assumptions about him. He does not sparkle even if Sorcha chucks glitter on him from time to time. Cosmin has an unfortunate habit of spontaneously mistifying when made to jump. [*]Garlic does not repel Cosmin or have any effect other than, quite frankly, he thinks it stinks. [*]Sunlight does not harm Cosmin; however, he is weaker during daylight hours. [*]Strigoi only need to sleep in their own graves (or at least its soil) for the first seven years. After that, they need only sleep in a graveyard/cemetery once a month. Cosmin has no idea what will happen if he doesn't sleep in a graveyard, but sleep in one he does.
[sub] Notes 2 [/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub]
