Augie just was following everyone as he didn't know Deus remarkably well, even though they had made a few tracks together. He sat in the back of the van and just stared out the window. Augie still hadn't read the loathsome website, but the air of melancholy was too weighty for him to resist. Upon arrival, he just supportively lurked in a corner, wordlessly nodding along to the words of support that others were putting forth. That is, until Deus spoke for the first time since their seemingly distant arrival. His reply was "Hey man, everything is easy in hindsight. You had no way of knowing whether or not that... ugh," he broke off for a second to stare with disgust into a corner, "would put something up about you." He sincerely looked Deus in the eye to show he cared, before looking away out of awkwardness. Despite the somber air, Augie couldn't help but feel that awkwardness that you feel when visiting someone's place for the first time.
