I am currently making a character for this RP. 

[b]Question[/b] - Are there mutant artists, singers, and actors? As in, a person with physical abnormalities caused by powers and mutations, or would no company choose to represent a mutant with an unnatural appearance? 

The reason for my question is because I intended to make a pop artist who is clearly, visibly, a mutant. If that wouldn't be accepted within the cultural parameters of America within this setting, I'll reconsider.
