True Name: [s]Esfandiyār[/s] Class: Archer Alignment: Lawful Neutral Appearance: Stats Strength: B Endurance: B Agility: B Magical Energy: B Luck: C Class Skills: Independent Action: A It is possible to take action even without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. At Rank A, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a week without a Master. Magic Resistance: - This skill has been molded into his "Aljism Aldhy La Yuqha" Noble Phantasm. For summation and quick reference: All Spells B-rank or lesser are completely nullified effectively only making him vulnerable to High-Thaumaturgy. ---------------------------------------- Slayer of Beasts: A [Lore]: A combination skill of "Monster Slayer" and "Dragon Slayer" and pushed farther by the multitude of creatures and forces brought to an end by his might. Gods and Humans are of the natural order of civilization, but beasts are Esfandiyār's specialty in slaying. Having killed Monstrous Wolves and Lions, A dragon, and a divine bird.... He has aptitude at slaying most forms of creatures. [Effect]: Any creature of the "beast" class (Monstrous, Phantasmal, or Divine) take greatly increased damage and any protections they might have against mundane weapons are halved in effectiveness. Traits like "Immortality" or "Invulnerability" are negated and instead degraded into "Protection" or "Regeneration"... Denying them absolute defenses in the wake of Archer's expertise. There will always be a chance for Archer to slay a Beast. Mind's Eye (False): C [Lore]: The natural inclination for success fostered by combat and experience. Esfandiyār was always talented and gifted but as he took various ordeals and labors he only became more potent, more powerful. Still as a holy knight he relied heavily on his training and faith more than his bestial instincts. [Effect]: Can feel the intent behind actions and gain a general flow for the progression of combat naturally. It futher allows him to sense if something would generally be more harmful to him or worth avoiding at all. A "Gut instinct" that he can't explain well but has aided him on his many adventures. Unrelenting Pursuit of Success - A++ [Lore]: The acknowledgement of the "Seven Labors of Esfandiyār" as a skill. These labors that he persisted through without pause or hesitation between them. Upon completing a "Labor" he is empowered and finds himself gaining momentum to complete his next mission... A formidable mental strength translating to persistence that encourages the body to embellish itself with more glory. [Effect]: Upon Killing another Servant in the grail war, Archer receives a permanent rank up to his one of his physical parameters at random up to a maximum of A. In addition, for one day after slaying an enemy Servant, he's driven towards his next "labor" gaining a + modifier to all his physical stats while in combat. ------------------------------------------ Weapon: A perfectly crafted bow of golden wood. The "Bullets" he uses are diamond tipped arrows that could be said to be the strongest natural projectiles. They are equal to an A rank attack he can unleash them enmass on his opponent with his great skill with a bow. If he takes the time to put all his energy into a single projectile he can even exceed A rank, piercing through nearly any sort of conventional defense mundane or magical. NOBLE PHANTASM Aljism Aldhy La Yuqhar: This Immortal Body Wrought In Flame: B++ [Lore]: The great prophet Zartosht was a great magician, a heretic at the time who spread the word of Zorostrianism. Upon acknowledging Archer's great character he bestowed a blessing of Invulnerability upon him, one of four divine gifts presented by Zartosht. This great and absolute protection rendered only Esfandiyār's Eye's vulnerable to a particular divine tree. Even the great Rostam was unable to harm him without exploiting this weak point. Further Zartosht declared anyone who'd spill the blood of his champion would be cursed with misfortune in this life and the next. An unbreakable curse that bound itself to the soul itself. [Effect]: A continuously Active type Noble Phantasm that defends against all attacks B-rank and lower, regardless of the attack being physical or magical in nature. Those of this rank or less are nullified regardless of whether it be Physical, Magical, or a Noble Phantasm. Only the highest grade attacks of their category are able to affect Archer. With enough effort it is possible to breach this armor even with B physical powers but attacks of Average rank will find it impossible to overcome this divide and strike Archer truly. On the flip side only High-Thaumaturgy can pierce the Noble Phantasm. Noble Phantasms are merely checked if they are a high enough rank to overcome the divide. A rank and above Noble Phantasms are able to take full effect through the rule that "The Greater Mystery Triumphs". Archer's 'weak point' is his eyes themselves and this anecdote has given his pupils an icy glowing sheen that makes them stand out even in darkness. Its a conceptual chink in his armor that brings to bare his vulnerability. Thus striking Archer in the eyes, both eyes, is akin to taking snuffing out the entirety of his mortality and will almost always result in lethal damage. Even if he survives he becomes vulnerable and this Noble Phantasm's protection is nullified though it doesn't prevent the curse laced in his protections from affecting those who'd spill his blood. Upon being slain Archer's essence, for lack of a better term, possesses his killer and enacts a most powerful and ancient curse upon the enemy. The enemy's Strength, endurance, and agility are permanently lowered by one rank or for as long as they remain in this world. In addition their Luck is forcefully cut off from "Fate" and is modified to an E rank. In cases where the target's luck is A+ or above it is merely changed to A rank instead. The only way to remove this curse is through a divine sacrament or spells approaching true magic. Eaza Wajal: The Chains Of Heaven: A [Lore]: The "Heavenly chain" granted to Archer by the great prophet Zoroaster. It is identical to the armament known as "Enkidu" found in the Gate of Babylon. These chains upon being distributed out into the world were used to by mankind to bind the great evil Angra Maynu. This has imposed the "Anti-Evil" Trait upon the chains but this has resulted in its original strength deteriorating since its created purpose has been modified. [Effect]: A golden magical chain that can appear in space anywhere Archer designates within 100 meters, shooting with blinding speed to ensnare his opponents. Using his keen eyes to accurately designate their paths and "Mind's Eye" skill to accurately surmise most accurate path for them, its a deadly accurate trap that only the most nimble can find their way out of. Though Eaza Wajal's "range" is limited these heavenly chains have an almost limitless length in which to ensnare their targets in their glittering gold lengths. While their links are not indestructible its strength and sturdiness is on par with a Normal Noble Phantasm, making it exceptionally hard to break. Further these bindings grow proportionate to one's "Divine Nature" as well as "One's evil nature". These combination of traits make it a Noble Phantasm exceptionally good at binding Demons and Gods alike. Originally it was able to bind space itself but upon being modified it has lost this absolute property though some similar traits remain. Eaza Wajal lowers the effectiveness of Magic on those whom it imprisons making teleporting and healing those afflicted much more difficult but not impossible. Typically the only way for a Servant to escape is with magecraft approaching True Magic or a Command Spell. -------------------------------------------------------------- Personality: An Iron will that obeys the beck and call of his Lord. Unwavering.... Unfearful. Even when presented with the overwhelming chance of his own death he would bring back those whom have wronged his Master. One could say he's a Knight who's never shirked away from responsibility or obligation. . He will always put his Master's whims above his own moral compass like a machine that grants wishes but will work to achieve these goals in a practical manner. Outside of the battlefield he is prim and proper and presents himself like a Knight of old. That's not to insinuate that he doesn't enjoy pleasure or selfishly desire worldly things, but he will always put his Master first. Even if he were told to slaughter an entire city with his arrows he'd nary bat an eyelash and put his personal feelings in the back of his mind. Legend: Coming soon!!
