[b]Appearance[/b]: Standing at 5'7, he has a fair skin and there are several distinguishing features of Vane, starting from his unusual white hair, toned body but one thing that stands out from the rest is his red left eye. It has a black sclera and red iris which makes him look like a monster. It is made of ruby and looked like a red glass, and merely used as an accessory. Whenever he is out for some actions or trying to hide his identity, he dons the mask. His mask is black in colour and it resembles a leather gimp mask with an eye patch. It bears a lip-less mouth with large, gnashing teeth, much like a restrained asylum monster. The bolts sticking out of his neck invoke a Frankenstein-like theme. He's usually seen in black clothes, he has a thing for the colour "Black".

[b]Personality[/b]: Vane is a man whose been instilled with values. He is someone who believes strongly in being able to forge his own path by his own two hands. He is someone who won't give up easily as he believes that if he tries his best he can achieve it. This somehow affects him in fights because he won't easily surrender to his enemy even if the opponent is better. He's not opposed to fighting to protect his beliefs. Even if he loses. Fight for what you believe in, think with your head, not your heart, if it's something that burns strongly within follow it.

Vane's reaction to people is initially cold because he knows what people thinks whenever they see him: a monster with an evil, wicked power of the darkness. However, if they prove that they are allies, he'll warm up to them and probably allow them to be near him. 

[b]Backstory[/b]: Born in the East, Vane never knew the feeling of love and family. He was born without one and was sheltered in a run-down orphanage. His life in the orphanage wasn't fun either because he was separated from the other kids. The caretaker said that he was a monster and he shouldn't be around the others. He slept alone in the attic, he ate alone and he survived everything alone. One day, he was sitting alone under a tree when he saw a couple of thugs were sparring with each other. 

Vane showed an interest but he didn't have the courage to ask. Until one day when he saw that the thugs were having another match, he built up his courage and urged them to teach him. Nevertheless, it wasn't easy for him to beg them but they taught him after his countless requests. He had found himself two allies, the very first ones. However, one day, when he turned 13, his power that defined him as a monster was unleashed unintentionally and killed one of the thugs. The other thug was shocked and shouted on top of his lungs the word "Monster!" before kicking Vane, resulting in him falling and left. 

Vane himself suffered from a trauma, the blood on his hand as he realized he was truly a monster. His mind went blank but a memory of him being forced to eat a fruit by an unknown figure, he recalled it even if it was painful for him. With that in mind, he kept avoiding people and confined himself inside a cave. He decided that if he wanted to survive without hurting anyone, he have to do everything alone and no one should be around him. With his new power, he decided to use it inside the cave where there was no one else. He kept trying to practice and control it for months so it would be safe for him to leave the cave. 

In a certain incident, he had problems with his left eye and through medical recommendations, he suppressed the problem with the help of small surgeries and a red accessory made of a ruby. Although the vision isn't as clear as a real eye, he can still see the beauty of the world. He wandered around, aimlessly on the East Blue until he met a wonderful woman who's called Alesia. A girl that accepted him for who he is despite his monster-like appearance. He found potential allies under the flag of the Scarlet Pirates but he still somehow insecure towards his power that forces him to keep his distance even on board. 

[b]Abilities[/b]: He fights with bare hands as he's used to hand-to-hand combats since he was 8. He also utilizes his Devil Fruit power in unison with his hand-to-hand combat.
[b]Devil Fruit[/b]: Yami Yami no Mi
A devil fruit that allows the user to create and control darkness at will. Despite his power, almost all of his techniques are named kindly to counter the evilness of the power.

[i]Merciful[/i] - Vane imbued his right hand with his Yami Yami power and activates the gravity power of his darkness to pull his opponents into his grasp usually their faces on his hand. Usually followed by a killing attack. 

[i]Heaven's Pit[/i] - Vane slams his hand onto the ground and covers the area around him with his darkness power, swallowing the things he chooses. The things he swallowed are subjected to a large amount of gravity and crushed. 

[i]Hand of Giving[/i] - Vane creates a darkness aura around him and then, expels all of the destroyed remains of what his darkness had swallowed up at once. Swords or cannonballs can be expelled like projectiles. 

[b]Relationships[/b]: Alesia, his captain, is probably the one he's comfortable to open up to

[b]Dreams[/b]: To find the true purpose of his life and his power, why is something wicked like him is born.
