As stated before, I think the contest managers just need to be a bit more diligent in releasing contests at regular intervals. If doing one contest a month is too hard, then maybe one every other month. A month for entries and a month for voting. I've seen the bi monthly contests done on a few forums and they work well. Other than that, I think the contests themselves are fine. I think it's stupid to put any sort of expectations on contestants or the people who vote on them, beyond the rules the organizers put in place. At this point, we should be happy to have any contestants, and people who actually take the time to read and review everyone's work deserve nothing but the utmost respect. Admitting heavy bias, as such is my typical role in these things. [@Frizan] If it's all the same to you, I'd like to start running my own "Character Contest," which would be something in the spirit of the last character sheet contest Nutty hosted. I doubt I'll be running them much later than June-July, but it's just something I'd like to try my hand at. I'm not sure if I need your permission or not, but here I am asking for it.
