She tried not to think about them. It wasn’t hat she didn’t love them. They had meant everything to her and it caused her to shut down except for one task; Finding her parents. Or at least finding their bodies so tey may find peace. But she couldn’t let herself become consumed by such thoughts. Their disappearance had left her charged with ruling her own “People”... So to speak.

Jacqulyn Oberon was now the Queen of the Fae. She was responsible for the Fae residing in their home realm as well as those on this world. It was exhausting to rule the Fae, especially when they decided to debate. The Fae knew the power of words and they lived to manipulate them, especially if it benefited them in the end. 

This time, however, the problem was not a Fae that was troubling her. Over the last couple decades, she had been keeping watch over an individual who, in time, would come into power, reigning over the humans within his kingdom. The young man was suspicious of “strange creatures” living in the human world. Right though he was, his suspicions became paranoia and fear as the years passed, but no one seemed to believe him which only served to strengthen his resolve to prove the existence of other beings. The Queen had never understood the divide between them, but had always tried to keep the balance as her ancestors before her. At least until she could find a way to change that. One that wouldn’t involve the bloodshed that was sure to occur should the King have his way.[/i][/center][/hider]
