Rainna Rivera
Rainna was glad that Adam had agreed to take a break, or it seemed like he did, indirectly, at least. The boy's words were proving to take some time to interpret, as with his next statement. Her brows furrowed and she curiously stared at him for a moment as she attempted to comprehend what was just said, only understanding when he ended off with "I'll be waiting to hear it.". Perhaps she would have figured it out by herself if given sufficient time, perhaps not, but it was currently clear. It had merely been a metaphorical way of expressing that he knew she was not talking about something that she wanted to. The relation he had made to her 'acidic breath' was admittedly a good one, and the fact that he had said it dryly made it all the more effective as a humorous addition. She chuckled, nodding in understanding before stepping closer. "Well, I guess we could talk about it. You and I both know what we saw last night. So, any theories or conclusions just yet? I mean, it could be big, or it could not. Perhaps if we could just get a gauge of how serious it is, it could ease the minds of all of us who saw what had happened, or prepare us for what's to come." She then cocked her head at him before she continued. "Also, your 'enhanced perception' isn't needed to see that your mind has been to places other than our training within the hour. I'm curious to know if it's picked up on anything unusual, maybe something that could be relevant to that whole scene with Outterridge and that other guy last night?" [@Eric Horst]
Both Dr. Roy and Mr. Alexander gave each other quick glances when the student who had approached them spoke about the device, in nonverbal agreement that any minor strange occurrences should be kept from students for the time being. To one who was observant, Dr. Roy possibly knew more than she was letting on, but that was hardly evident. "Just a minor glitch, Miss Crest. Is there anything else of concern?" Enquired the Head of Science, assuming that the girl had come up to the staff for another matter before noticing the confusion that little technical glitch had brought about. [@PokimKyOshi]
The sound of student activity faded as Morrigan made her way back to the academy building, the eventual silence implying that she was all by herself. However, nearing the edge of Roxgeo Forest she spotted a terrifying sight - a dark grotesque creature with glowing eyes and sharp, prominent teeth. Its eyes met hers, and in a split second it charged right at her before she could react, making its horrifying jaws the last thing she saw before everything went black. It would be worth mentioning that Ronnie, during his training with Yunnie, had met with a similar sight, and the two awoke in a brightly-lit cell of sorts, with a digitally-locked door and a large window made with a transparent panel allowing them to see into a room containing run-down furniture. Right in front of the window was a tall dark-haired woman gripping the collar of a blond teenage boy. Morrigan would find the masks that the both of them were wearing similar to the one worn by the man at the academy the night before. Their words could not be heard through the window, but the woman was apparently angry, and the boy, from his demeanor, seemed apologetic. It appeared that the exchange was nearing its end by the time Morrigan and Ronnie had come to, for they were seen engaged with each other only for a brief period of time before they both went their separate ways, neither one making direct eye contact with the abducted students before leaving. The students would find that attempting to use their abilities would cause sharp, unbearable headaches. It would be safe to conclude that this is due to the light that currently flooded the cell, but finding its source and disabling it would prove to be a challenge. [@Cerces22] [@sempis]
After hearing what Yunnie had to say, Mona would tell her to take it easy before she ran off to report the strange incident to a staff member. If Yunnie were to observe her surroundings a little more, she would realize that they were not exactly as they were before she went to sleep. There were subtle signs of struggle or destruction, and faint marks that appeared to have been made by claws on the nearby ground and trees. These signs seemed to persist along a path leading deeper into the forest. [@OliveYou]
