[indent]Yachiyo is a lanky girl, sporting a runner's physique with long limbs and lean definition. An immaculate, light complexion attests to her sheltered upbringing, and accentuates her bright lavender-colored eyes. Though her mane is usually tied up at the back of her head, it's actually quite long, reaching down to just above her tailbone, and possesses a rich shine. Yachiyo's reputation as a clean-spirited and trustworthy friend could very well be rooted in the softness and clarity of her appearance. With large, shimmering eyes, gentle features, and the hint of a smile etched into her face, Yachiyo tends to be deemed extremely approachable and non-intimidating. 
Perhaps as a result of her deeply passinate personality, Yachiyo sports a gentle blush and subtly flushed cheeks at all times, which lend her a perpetually love-struck, heated, or even inebriated appearance, much to her own embarrassment. Or, perhaps, it is simply oversaturation 'caused by her Quirk.
Yachiyo's wardrobe is dominated by upscale designer brands, pastels, and soft earthy tones, and largely conveys traditional femininity befitting of the virtues she was raised with. [/indent]
[sub][color=#cfcaef][b]Characterization[/b][/color][/sub]
[indent]Yachiyo is a fairly orderly young woman, valuing a sense of respect for the rules; unfortunately, this has left her being prone to fluster whenever an authoritative personality addresses, scolds, or otherwise interacts with her. She's similarly, or perhaps even moreso, dumbfounded when others express affection or compliment her - or vice versa. This trait is amplified by the fact that she crushes quite easily and is generally an affectionate, amiable person, who'd much rather praise and cheer on others instead of mentioning anything negative. Though she is aware of this behavior, it continues to cause her significant embarrassment when witnessed or, worse, alluded to by her peers.

Despite her somewhat submissive and goofy behavior towards teachers and other people in positions of power, she values her friends above all else - including authorities - and is incredibly encouraging and protective of them. Whenever possible, Yachiyo will do her best to support those dear to her, and will do anything she can to keep others safe. Yachiyo prefers to see others succeed, rather than intervene with a blaze of glory, but feels strongly compelled to step in when necessary regardless. 
Overall, she has a caring and attentive personality, however, her nurturing side can take a seat when people dismiss rules or consciously cause disorder; Yachiyo does not approve of such displays, and may or may not get a little ticked off when it happens. 
It follows that Yachiyo is a neatfreak, and keeps her quarters, clothes and... well, anything obsessively tidy and clean. Her dislike for sloppiness goes far enough to where she may step in and clean up after others - usually to the amusement of her friends. Perhaps this is just another facet of her nurturing personality, as she simply likes to care for others. Due to her interest in culinary expertise especially, she loves cooking for others, and is head over heels into discussing the finer points of food.

Yachiyo tends to be perceived as the personification of prim and proper, due to her sophisticated heritage, sense of style, her deference to authority in her everyday life, and the fact that she the "cute girl next door" type. However, she has a much more casual and sloppy side to her, particularly when it comes to sports (Yachiyo is a major slouch when it comes to P.E.) or music: She is a fan of the roughest punk and rock music there is, often catching people off-guard with her musical preference. In spite of her preppy and cutesy demeanor, it isn't hard to find her decked out in skull-adorned merch at any local (or not-local) concert.

[indent]Born into the Adachihara empire, Yachiyo was raised under strict rules and with the expectation to continue her family's business alongside a future husband. Yachiyo was raised to possess an acute sense of duty, grace, and diligence, and as such took on the expectations placed in her without hesitation. However, she also developed an almost crippling sense of humility and guilt, due to her feeling of being undeserving of the luxuries her parents' security empire has afforded her, which has nudged her to isolate her true self quite regularly. It wasn't until the G.G. Corp. Int. incident that her heroic aspiration began to overwhelm her sense of duty to continue her family's business.

Shortly after her 11th birthday, the G.G. Corp. headquarters - a leading chemistry company founded by Yachiyo's father (who once was an on- and offshore gas chemist) - was raided by a villainous cabal. With the intent to capitalize on the easy access to valuable substances as well as intel, Yachiyo's parents were eventually taken hostage and held at gunpoint by the intruders. The youngest of the family, and blissfully unaware until later that day, Yachiyo couldn't bear the thought of losing her parents, or any of her loved ones, without any means to protect them. She had long admired the pro heroes as a source of inspiration for people across the country - Now, however, she knew there was but one path for her to take. 

After having spent her entire life in the cozy comfort of Ashiya, in the wealthy Hyōgo Prefecture, Yachiyo convinced her parents with her heartfelt passion to allow her to pursue the path of becoming a hero, which, truly, was the main hurdle to overcome. However, even they admitted that a hero school would be beneficial in developing their daughter's Quirk. After having applied to any and all schools she could find, her heart beamed with joy when a late acceptance letter from Jigokuraku arrived, beckoning her from her nest.[/indent]

[indent]Soul Paint is a Quirk that draws from the vibrancy and saturation of the wielder's environment in order to manipulate color (and, to the degree required, light). The Quirk is able to change or "suck away" colors and drawings wherever the user desires, enabling tactics such as camoflage or diversion. The absorbed light can also be stored in order to be used later, though this Quirk can overcharge and 'cause drawbacks. The Quirk is also able to generate "paint", allowing the wielder to shoot bursts and splashes of paint or leave bright marks.[/indent]
