Had this idea for a villain to be used sometime later, as a side-character, kinda. Here is the CS for review.
Basic Information Name Patrizia Binari Vigilante Name Marionette (as nicknamed by the media) Age 17 Species Mutant Gender Female Ethnicity Italo-American Nationality American Occupation Spoiled daughter. Alignment Chaotic Evil Detailed Information Appearance It is impossible to not recognize Patrizia because of the drastic changes the mutation caused to her body, slowly taking away flesh and replacing it with synthetic materials. There seems to be a distinction between some softer and hard bits, but Patrizia’s body is not exactly hard, it is, however, steel cold. She never blinks and her expression is always somewhat vacant. Despite the nature of her body, she kept growing and looks like her age instead of when she first transformed. Personality The keyword of Patrizia’s personality is spoiled. She was a sickly child for half of her life and a disfigured mutant for the other, adding that to the early death of her mother, and the girl was never thought the meaning of the word no, always getting what she wanted and being extremely shielded from the world outside and it's common sense. She is very childish and will often refer to people trying to stop her as “mean”. If a person does not try to challenge her, she can be quite friendly, especially if they show interest in things she likes, she could be even described as easy to manipulate. Being from an increasingly rich family, she likes luxury, and is often amazed by concepts of royalty and wealth (this shows in action with the ‘royal’ guard of dummies and the plastic throne she likes to sit in while using her powers.). That is however an exception to her personality, as she really likes natural and calm places, with an abundance of birds and plants, despite being a master of synthetic materials. Origin Born from a problematic pregnancy due to her mother’s illness (which would later turn fatal), Patrizia was a weak and sickly child, living with her father, the CEO of one of the many failing toy companies in the turn of the millennium. This did not stop him from pampering his daughter, hiring many tutors and showering her with gifts. He also would try to introduce her to other kids, but even in her tired form, she was a bit of a troublemaker, often throwing tantrums over minor things, and since she was weak, it was not uncommon for the other kids to bully her in retaliation. Things took a new turn when she turned 12, as her body started to change, and not in the way most humans experience around that age. Synthetic materials started to substitute her skin, and it was clear to her father that she was a mutant, yet he feared to contact the government because he thought they would take her away. The power awakening and body shift also took away Patrizia’s sickness, she could now run and jump and was no longer bound to her bedroom. The first thing she did was to help her father’s company by using her plastic manipulation to sabotage many of the rival companies’ products while helping with the production of her father’s company. He did not like his daughter doing such things, but seeing her smile in so long made him falter. With newfound vitality, however, Patrizia would soon replicate the tantrums of her childhood, this time however using her mutant powers. Her first crime was stealing a t-rex skull from a museum simply because she found it cool, unfortunately, a hero showed up and beat her back, recovering the fossil and forcing her to escape. It was from that moment Patrizia decided heroes were lame and mean and wanted to hog all the cool things for themselves, starting her path as a villain. Notable Relations -Marcello Binari Her precious father. Resources Comes from a wealthy family, made wealthier by her actions. However, his father doesn’t really know much about mutant related items and has not contacted anyone that could help. Everyday Skills She is a superb pianist and is great at memorizing patterns, really good at video games, but only enjoys simple ones without stories. Combat Fighting Style She does not fight herself, never being trained and using her powers to do all the fighting for her. Strengths All her strengths are limited to her power. Despite being a bit broken mind-wise, she is awfully crafty when it comes to developing answers to new threats. Weaknesses She is a small girl with no fighting training at all, if neutralized she is as helpless as some small kid. Her body alterations are merely aesthetic and do not provide her with extra strength or defense, she also has extremely low resistance to pain, panicking when she is hurt. Equipment Plastic dummies/mannequin that she crafts herself, notably more sturdy than the typical plastic she throws around. Two of those are dressed in royal attire and act as her last stand ‘royal guard’. She also has a plastic throne she keeps for style points. Power Plastic Manipulation A very straightforward power, she can move plastic with her thoughts, bending and shaping it (but not changing its nature). She can do it to a wide range around her, provided there is nothing blocking the path (even a simple cardboard box blocks the power). Strengths Azure is a city full of plastic, as are most modern cities, as such, while in concept the power might sound pathetic, it becomes less so when toys, tables, chairs, and mannequins come to life to hunt you down whilst tornadoes of plastic bags and bottles block all the exits. Patrizia is also great at recognizing how to use her power to deal with a threat, using plastic that will melt into thick goo against fire powered heroes, clogging water pipes against a water one, spreading out projectiles against an agile one or focusing it all in one large ball against one of strength. Weaknesses/Limitations But in the end, it still lacks the firepower to make good out of the amazing area control she has. Her whole battle plan is not so much to knock out a hero, but to tire them until they make one mistake too many. Often being described as ‘victory by nuisance’. She cannot change the nature of plastic, meaning, for example, she can’t make vinyl out of plastic bottles. She can’t melt or fuse plastic herself but can shape plastic during its production. Extra • As twisted as her mindset is, she wants to beat heroes, but she does not desire to deal with them for good, meaning she doesn’t aim to kill anyone and, in fact, so far has not done any serious harm, just minor injuries. • Whenever she defeats law enforcement or a hero, she likes to do it with style and humiliate them by making it look as if they were captured by little plastic toys. • So far no one has linked the mutant to her real identity.
