I never really liked the blood ragers flavor, so I would prefer something like a magus, I havent specifically looked at artificer so I am not sure how it differs from the standard magus. 

The idea of an arcane archer as an archer who reinforces their arrows with magic, is what I am going for but more akin to a swordsman. I tend to try to run The Arcana lord 3rd party archetype which tends to sacrafice their spells in favor of more arcana points, and choosing arcana that fits more flavorfully with a mystic swordsman. But I am honestly open to almost anything.
