[@CaptainSully] it destroys projectiles, as in you need to actually strike the incoming attack to negate it. At the point of destruction it creates a spherical area called an 'Earth Bind' that automatically destroys any projectile that comes into contact it; the 'Earth Bind' would last for maybe 30 seconds or is removed when a second one is created. It also disappears when an enemy comes into contact with it, dealing damage to that enemy.

Basically it has the same in-game effects as Hakumen's [url=https://blazblue.fandom.com/wiki/Slaying_Demon:_%C5%8Ckami]Okami[/url] from Blazblue if you are familiar with that.
