he pulls back from the hug and kissed her cheeks.  "please liz dont cry" he says "i didnt mean to scare you" he says "i would never hurt you or raise a hand to you" he says "but i will protect you with everything in me" he told her. "i love you mouse" he told her.  "When i ask you to marry me and i will at some point, you wont have to worry about your father or brother harming you in anyway" he says "because i will be your family and wont have to see them unless you want" he told her.

Kali hugged james and took his hand and walked into her room.  she walks over to the couch near her closet and sat down.  She was far enough away to give her brother some privacy but she was in eye view of him.
